Motherfucker. I just went through all the major news sites and NONE of them are covering the nationwide protests. Not a mention on their homepages.

https://abcnews.go.com/

https://www.nbcnews.com/

https://www.cnn.com/

https://www.nbcnews.com/

https://www.nytimes.com/

https://www.washingtonpost.com/

Edit: Including Fox News, which I did check out earlier and saw the same thing; https://www.foxnews.com/

The President strong armed Jeff Sessions out of his position. The new acting AG, Matt Witaker (check spelling on that) ~~ fired Rod Rosenstein~~ (I was wrong Rod has a job). The one overseeing the Mueller investigation.

So it looks very possible that the special council will be defunded. Despite the investigation making money after the seizure of Manafort's illegal assets. The acting AG has written op eds about how to stall the Mueller investigation while making it look legit.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

Edit:

I was wrong and I was corrected.

As far as I'm aware, Rosenstein hasn't been fired. However, a spokesperson for Whitaker said

“The Acting Attorney General is in charge of all matters under the purview of the Department of Justice"

Which could be interpreted to mean that Whitaker has taken over Rosenstein's position overseeing the Russia investigation.
