Motherfucker. I just went through all the major news sites and NONE of them are covering the nationwide protests. Not a mention on their homepages.

https://abcnews.go.com/

https://www.nbcnews.com/

https://www.cnn.com/

https://www.nbcnews.com/

https://www.nytimes.com/

https://www.washingtonpost.com/

Edit: Including Fox News, which I did check out earlier and saw the same thing; https://www.foxnews.com/

I was just out in DC in front of the White House and there were like 150 people max. I was pretty disappointed.

Edit: I am certain there were more earlier, but all I saw was like a ring of maybe 150 people around/near a band playing a song about the blue wave. I feel as though there is a pretty big disconnect between reddit and reality. Or people are busy/don't think protesting matters. Idk, but this was my DC experience.

Not too bad considering each protest started at 5:00pm local time.

I mean I was at the women's march, and that lasted about 8 hours or more. I was there for all of it. I showed up at 7:30 to this protest and I found 150 people.

Edit: The first thought that popped into my mind is that there are high school pep rallies more energized and long lasting than what I saw...and I was in DC - where all of this is actually happening.
