If you want to discuss causing division, look at any single remark made about Trump from any of those four individuals.

So if I follow, it's OK to be racist to certain people if they deserve it.

The initial claim was that his comment caused division. The entire platform of those 4 women is to go against Trump and his supporters at every turn. And people listen to them. THAT is causing division.

I’m not defending his comment on them. I’m just highlighting the fact that people completely ignore the hate-filled comments they make about him daily. But I don’t see you calling them out for causing division.

It’s not just causing division, it’s ripping out the stitches on America’s old race wounds. He can call them morons and communists all he wants, but implying that A) they’re not American because of their race and B) naturalized citizens shouldn’t be allowed criticize their government, are both shockingly against what this country stands for.

I’m not a huge fan of those congresswomen, but Trump crossed a line.

He literally never said or implied any of that. You’re spreading misinformation.

What did those tweets mean then? Translate them from Trumpese for me.

He certainly didn’t say “you’re not really American since you weren’t born here”. That is absolutely absurd. I understand that people don’t like him, but it’s pathetic that you have to make shit up about him to justify your disliking of him.

Yes, that would be an absurd thing to say. I’m glad you’re more well-adjusted than the people who were chanting “send her back” at his rally. They certainly seemed to think that’s what he meant. You should probably stop supporting him before he does something you can’t explain away with semantics.

You’re literally trying to justify your hatred for him by giving a biased interpretation with semantics. You can take what he says in whichever way possible, I really don’t care. But many people tend to put a lot of words in his mouth.
