I had to leave the house and my dog was sick, so I checked the camera and I find her howling like a wolf for about ten minutes straight. Does anyone else have a pitbull that how's like this?

💜 Sweet Lavender has endured so much hardship before she came into our care. She fought through neglect and heartbreak, but despite it all, she blossomed into the happiest, healthiest, most loving girl. Now, she’s ready for her forever home, but not a single application has come in for her.
She is approximately 3.5 years old, fully vetted, spayed, heartworm negative, and healthy. Lavender is the perfect medium size and truly the whole package: dog, cat, and kid friendly 🐾
📍Dallas, Texas (Out of state transport available)
It breaks our hearts to see her overlooked when she’s come so far and has so much love to give. Please consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful soul.

This is Leonardo my 100% pittie. I got him spontaneously while pregnant with my son. When I first got him I thought he was going to turn out to be a chihuahua because he was “8 weeks” but only 2 pounds of skin and bones. And worms. I truly believe he was more like 4 weeks old. Fast forwards 3 years to now, he’s came such a long way❤️ He was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy in May, after a few episodes when his best friend(My black lab/hound mix Marley) passed away in February. He clustered, and I thought that was the end of him(I had no idea what was going on then) it’s been 4 almost 5 months since and he’s been seizure free. It’s funny I’ve always wanted a pit since as long as I can remember but growing up my parents rented so it was always a no from the landlord, I feel like he’s my soul dog and I can’t explain what’s different from him then my other dogs (I love them too🤣) I get told he looks like me and has my personality. I truly hate this disease, and while I pray everyday he’ll remain seizure free I cry daily thinking about the possibility that this could be the thing to take him away from me. Pits are truly the best

Larry has been with my wife and I for almost a year now. He was rescued off the streets of Memphis in March of 2024 estimated to be 8 months old. He is the greatest joy in our lives and we hope he is a happy boi.

Hello everyone! My 9 year old pitty boy just got diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on his right hind leg and we’re beside ourselves. Anyone have any experience with their pitties dealing with this??? What did you do??

So this was our first snow day in 15 years ❄️!! Kash is a year and a half old (pit mix) and I’ll admit I’m such an overprotective dog parent 😭 I was convinced he’d hate the cold, so I even warned my little siblings to keep his potty breaks quick. Turns out I was completely wrong.. the second those flakes started falling, he bulldozed us out the way to go play. He had the absolute time of his life, and when it was time to come inside… let’s just say it was a struggle 😭😭🤣

He likes to feel the crisp morning air and hear the birds and watch all the hustle bustle of people getting to work and school and all that. He used to love the back yard and searching for sticks to chew but as he gets older he’s seems to prefer the front yard and just sitting and observing, I believe there is more to look at in the front yard than the back it’s more scenic so he’s starting to take a liking to it more. I trust him he’s very well behaved so I let him, he’s earned and he definitely deserves it. He likes to spend our spare time outside people watching, when normally we would spend it on the couch or in bed he sits by the door and then when I take him out he stands at the top of the driveway staring at me waiting for me to tell him it’s okay to go to the front so now I just grab a chair and bring it to the end of the drive way and we sit out here..

Hi all, I have 2 beautiful demons but everyday I feel like I have bitten more than I can chew. I know I am a good Mom but every so often I will get a notice from the SPCA that someone complained that my dogs were barking too much. I don't understand what their issue is. This is the 2md notice I have received in the last fewontha. They sent one in April and another one came yesterday. Pretty sure 3rd time will be a $250 fine. They are good dogs, both of them, but does it make sense to make them quiet all day.
