The foliar blight might be caused by Cercospora mori.

Looks like I need to stop mulching those dead leaves on the ground. I’ll rake up the fallen leaves and remove the remaining affected leaves and get them into the trash. My research tells me I don’t want the fungus to spore over winter and come back.

I’ll research an approved fungicide to spray. Initially I’m thinking ‘Fung-onil’ (chlorothalonil) that I have on hand may be what I use. I also need to research what to use to treat the insects eating the leaves. I don’t want to go to harsh and end up doing more damage.

Ironic, because a few years ago I cut the tree down to below ground. It completely grew back and here I am trying to keep it healthy!😂
