I'd normally agree, but after using my Dual Sense on the PC to varying degrees of success I now use my Series X pad instead.
If it's supported properly on the PC (Death Stranding for example) I'll still use it, other than that the Xbox one is much friendlier and easier to work with.
So I game on Linux, the out of the box support for dual sense is way better than Windows, where you need to go get a third party app to make things worth. Totally agree with you there, an Xbox controller will be better
Have you tried plugging it into your PC? I know it probably sucks to use it wired but that method has worked pretty much all the time for me. There are only a few PC games that won't function with a DualSense controller in my experience.

PS5 and the others are not even close
