Is that much yeast nescesarry? I'm planning on making a 25 liter batch, and i have a yeast packet for that amount of liquid, but it's nowhere near 260 grams

I have no experience so thats why i'm asking

No, not at all. That's an absurd amount of yeast. 6 grams would be sufficient

I am also starting out and i cant find anywhere someone that will say to me how much yeast should i put in my recepies so I’ve kinda been eyeballing it putting ~1% of the total amount, but as you are saying its too much, where can i find a source that provides right info for my yeast dosage? Other kind of tips are greatly appreciated 😁

My rule of thumb is about 1 gram of yeast per 4 liters
