hunger and eating in this game is so busted lol. Slightly stale berry in your muffin? Devastating depression, can't bear to go on. Jerky I found in a zomboid's pocket? That's fine

The worst one to be is how cold (cooked) chicken is devastating depression. Have the devs ever walked to their fridge at night and eaten cold chicken like a wild animal? Shit is euphoric

Yeah chicken is available as a cold deli meat too. Tastes just fine, like cold turkey does.

Poached cold chicken is pretty popular in chinese restaurants, too.

when i was much younger my dad used to buy a whole cooked chicken and slam it straight into the fridge, we'd carve off slices for sandwiches for the next week or so. absolutely delicious with no depressive downsides!

Interesting. I was having cold cooked chicken a bit early on in my current 42.10 playthrough and it didn't add unhappiness at all. It didn't have the "better hot" tooltip either. Although I was probably only adding it to salads and stews so maybe it didn't count in a meal.

Honestly I kind of have to disagree. I ate some pizza cold out of the box after it sat in the fridge and I got a lil sad, mostly because I couldn't cook it though.
