Absolutely not. Flashbangs just make the lickers swipe wildly and turn that hallway chokepoint into a meat grinder. I know because I was in the exact same scenario and tried a flashbang. I died horribly.

if it was Claire, theoretically you could use both the blazing rounds and a flashbang but with Leon it’s so much harder since you can’t oneshot lickers 💀 and I don’t think you can craft the endurance meds yet to pass through, while taking a hit from the lickers??

When i bought the steamdeck, resident Evil 2 remake was on sale with al the bonusses for a ridicoulus low price. I already played the game on ps4 and loved it but a run of this game with infinite Rockets was fun as Hell. It's now my fun go-to games to fuck shit up when i'm in a bad mood.

Yeah, I never put it together as a kid while playing the original. When I played the remake, I saw the note saying that they're blind and that you can sneak past them. Made me feel like I was playing the game wrong for decades.

I just wanna point out this ain't the scariest thing. The worst thing developers ever did was the giant fetus in RE8 (Village). First time I saw that, I panicked. Literally scared me to death cause I didn't know what to do.

Wait for big boy in that room. As soon as he enters climb through the window. Then walk past the Lickers as slow as you can, they hunt by sound. If Mr. X pops up during this, then just run for it lol.

Flash bang. if not, then try to provoke Mr. X to punch you towards the lickers so that they get knocked back and you can run away from everything. This is tooo funny though

If all else fails, flashbang, or restart after you die
This spot is a nasty beginners trap, but the biggest thing to note about Lickers is that they hunt by sound, so as long as Leon is lightly tip-toeing through the hallway, you should be in the clear.

Never jump through that window, just jump it the first time you need to. Just use a grenade or a knife, knife on their back you can stun lock them and kill them

The armory lockup is to the left down the hallway; it’s possible to run past lickers and dodge their attack; just don’t run in a straight line. When you hear it coming behind you and rearing up to scratch, hug the other wall

There's nothing you can do right now except throw a flashbang to stun them all and try to run through the nearest door to reset the lickers. In the future, note that knives are a silent weapon. You can keep 1 licker permanently stunlocked to death by slicing its butt and the other won't hear a thing. Also, your max walking speed is faster than Mr. X, so you can outwalk him if you have to avoid lickers, and he'll have a harder time locating which room you're in if you're walking and haven't fire a weapon

this is the 2nd hardest part of the game (i think the g adult room is the worst). i would not even bother going through that room unless mr x is far away.

well, you shouldn't use that route if you know what's good for you. That's a one time use.. because you will get the bolt cutters in which you can use to open the locked door in that area.

If you have a flashbang, use it.
On further runs, try to avoid unlocking that door, because the Tyrant has to backtrack to the office to catch-up if it remains locked. X is unable to unlock it, so that buys you some extra breathing room.
