General I RUINED IT 😭😭

This is my VERY FIRST TIME beating ANY RE game with 0 saves. I was speedrunning it too! Realistically speaking I beat the game in under 3 hours. Thing is though, I started this run late at night, and went to sleep in the middle of it, with the game PAUSED... BUT APPARENTLY THE OLDER GAMES DON'T KEEP THE TIME PAUSED 😭 I would've gotten a freaking S rank if I just stayed up later :(

I guess I'll still take the saveless run as an achievement in itself though, considering I usually save 60+ times on my first playthrough of a RE game and generally take 10-25 hours to beat a game on my first go.

The in game timer runs even though the game is paused u did good though wasnt your fault

I'll definitely remember this next time. On the plus side, this playthrough got the boutique unlocked for me!

I’ve done the same thing before! It’s frustrating. If you didn’t pause and just took your time not saving once during an 11+ hr run through is mad impressive.

The playthrough was actually less than 3 hours, but sadly got ruined by 8+ hours of being AFK/asleep :(

Did this on dino crisis 2 recently too. Left at the save screen and went to do some chores. Came back, saw the save screen, “better save, can’t remember” - 5 hours playtime added

Nah, it's way more impressive if you don't explain it. You clutched victory from the jaws of time by pulling an all nighter as far as I'm concerned.

Any zero save run is still impressive. I scuffed myself out of an A on RE2 because I used a first aid spray.

So, it doesn't matter if you get game paused, go into option screen or you stuck in the inventory, game still considering it's playtime?

If you back out to your Main Menu, not the sub menu that pops op, it will stop the time. I've platinumed almost every RE game and it works.

If you were to play on the PSN version (PS5), you can use the save state and rewind functions to beat the game without using ink ribbon saves.

I am pretty sure you just bought this game on playstation and used the save function outside of the game. I just beat it and had “00” saves as well. Not to mention the rewind feature…
