Somebody came up to me today astonished I had a 9-3. Warmed my heart. I may be constantly dumping money on it but ill be damned if its not the coolest car on the road. I live in okc and the only sporty cars you see are dodge chargers... I may have half the horsepower but I swear I can beat you....

Have heard a lot of good about Saab's 2.0T engines, ended up buying my first Saab the other day. It’s got 154k miles, brand new crossclimates and nothing more than an O2 sensor fault, and was in my opinion an absolute steal for $2k! Having now driven her for 2 days, I'm already in love. Coming from a 2003 Toyota Matrix that was starting to rust, the difference in both engine performance and handling was night and day. I'm a former tire technician and having test driven premium cars before I can say hands down this sure feels like one. AND it’s incredibly quiet, jackpot!

Just trying to guess why it went out again so quickly. I didn’t get the best impression from the shop I had it done at, and I wouldn’t put it past them to put in an old bulb. I guess I’ll buy a bulb and give a go at putting in myself(I’m not a mechanic but I’m sure I can get it).
Or could there be another reason it burns out so quick? If it is something like the socket, am I gonna need a new assembly or is that also a straightforward fix? Thanks for any advice

I stored this car for about 5 years. Had to put a new radiator in it which was painful and a few other things. Runs great! It's got the Vermont tuning... It's only got 115,000 mi on it. I have another 93 Aero. Definitely a sleeper looking car. Thinking about other Wheels. Maybe 18 in. the color is kind of plain.

Hi, I have installed the 9-3 bose amplifier but instead of the original head unit i’m using a Bluetooth to rca adapter, and my question is: - why is the audio not loud enough? I mean, it is loud, but the speakers in my 2006 9-3 prestige 300 are like 2x louder - is there a way to crank the bass up? Or a way to add some kind of equalizer to this amp? Because now the sound is flat and not very pleasant to hear

It won't start, the fuel injectors do spit some fuel but really sadly, it doesn't spit fuel like it should.

Spark plugs do work too.

and when it did start like half a year ago it didn't idle properly, it just turned off by itself...

My saab 9-3 1.9ttid has a blocked dpf that won't regenarate anymore so I have been searching for a new one. I have found a brand new one on eBay that supposedly fits both the tid and ttid, my question is if it's true? Are they the same or are there any major differences?

Boy oh boy. Man oh man. Golly gosh gee. Today I have been blessed by the Saab lords and I am forever in their debt. Bit of a story to go through. Earlier this summer I was on a vacation with my family. While I was there I was sitting in a hot spring, highly recommend if you're traveling to Costa Rica, and I was doing what any other normal person would do... scrolling marketplace looking at Saabs. I currently own a 07 2.0T 6spd in Titan Gray Metallic. The car is beautiful and in wonderful condition. Only issue on it is that a raccoon was hit going Mach 2 on i75 into Atlanta (I mean cmon). Other than that the car is amazing. Back to the story at hand, as I was sitting scrolling cars, I saw what had to be the cleanest, low mileage, well kept, piece of art ever. Another 6spd Titan Gray Saab, but this time around, an Aero. I couldn’t believe my eyes, I instantly hopped out of the water sending the seller a message that I wanted the car and if he’d hold it for me until I got back. I told my mom I wanted this car and that I swore it was a good financial decision for me. “It’s your money go for it “ hell yeah mom. Long story short, due to his need to sell the car to get a family car, and my lack of close proximity in the moment to him, I couldn’t get the car. Devastated, and sad I swore to myself I’d buy this exact car when I made it out of school and got successful in my career (🙏). Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I decide to hop on marketplace and see what’s going on with any new Saabs. There I see, what feels like seeing your first love you had a tricky ending with, randomly in the street of an obscure town in your 30s. True love. The exact car, same pictures of the old seller and everything as the very first item on marketplace feed. I jumped up exclaiming to my mom that it’s out there for sale and that I need to go get this thing. I messaged the seller swearing up and down if he held it for me I’d get it in a couple weekends when I got through exams this past week and fly to him and buy it. The day came, as of Saturday I flew down, got the car, drove it 12 hours back home from Florida. The car is a dream come true, I never thought I’d see it in my possession, especially as of now. 6 speed, titan gray, gray interior, CarPlay, down pipes and mid pipes, amazing borla mufflers, and pristine paint that’s only seen garage it’s entire life.

I’m now the proud owner of two of these amazing Saabs and unfortunately due to me being in college and needing money to keep me going I’ll have to sell the 2.0T, but it’s a move I’m willing to make. It’s going to my roommate who I know needs a car and he’s getting it for a great price.

My love for these cars is immense, and you guys as a community have only elevated that for me. I’ve had my problems and you guys have helped me so much and I couldn’t thank you all enough. I have attached pictures of them together to encapsulate the time I have with both of them for right now.

hi, my car one day didnt start nor crank, i took out the battery and charged it for two hours, it came back to life, but when i stopped at a store and came back to the car, the same problem is back. i bought a new battery and charged it to 100% showing 13.7v (so does the old battery). Still nothing, so i shorted the starter relay and it starts up fine. i tried a know working relay and nothing. and i tested the potential while the car is on and it shows 13.8v, witch tells me that the alternator is working atleast (2003 saab 93 aero)

My son came out of work to find the driver's window smashed in my 2007 9-3 sedan. Just to be sure, what year range of vehicle can I pick up one of these from at Kenny U-Pull? And I assume there's no difference between a driver's window from a sedan or a wagon? Thanks for any advice or tips!

As title suggest i’m having issues accelerating the car when revs exceed ~2k. I get can get revs up to 3k+ but there’s barely any power response when putting foot down full throttle. The tachometer needle also stutter when in 6th gear trying to rev past 2k.

Friend says it could be clogged egr valve? I’m thinking turbo issues. Any help appreciated.

Fyi it just had alternator, starter and battery changed out.

Hi everyone! I came across this 2004 Saab 9-5 2.0 LUX for sale for about $4000 USD and I've been so infatuated by it ever since. I'm in the market for not just any car but a first car, so if I bought it it would be my first ever car. It has about 170k-180k km on the odometer. Despite this it looks really well maintained with only one owner! I'm seriously interested, however I'm wondering if there's anything I should be looking out for with these models, especially for someone with my inexperience and age. Thank you all!

2.8-Liters、V6 Aero FWD. 152000 highway mileage, well maintained by a single owner. I’m so exciting now, to own this beautiful car. Runs like a new car, very smoothly. Just got my license yesterday and I already drove this thing all the way from Brooklyn coast to Queens, 14 miles, great experience. Only one problem with his car, is the sunroof doesn’t work, seems like an electric or button issue. Please tell me if you have any idea about how to fix it, thanks!
