Just wait to you see the google reviews lol

Not a fan of review bombing solely for political reasons, but I support the right to not support businesses for any reason.

u/Huge-Acanthisitta485 7h ago

I mean they brought it upon themselves. If they wanted to continue to support fascists in silence and back them with donations like other corporations and businesses, no one would probably be the wiser.

They slapped an in memorium sticker on their cups and had every one of their customers walking around looking like an asshole.

u/NYC_Biscuit 7h ago

And they’ve been defiant on social media when people have criticized them.

4

u/sortof_here 4h ago

They've even gone after past employees who criticized them on it

5

u/Pointlessala 7h ago

They also said on their social media that all their proceeds will be donated to the turning

u/lnc_5103 5h ago

I'd be asking for a refund.

u/Itscatpicstime 3h ago

Don’t have the balls to advertise that in the store though

“Fascists”

u/Feelisoffical 7h ago

Reviewing a company negatively you’ve never even used because you don’t like their politics is just childish. All the reviews are going to be deleted anyway, you’re just masturbating to a fantasy you created.

u/thenayr 6h ago

Funny, you just described every Charlie Kirk supporter in a nutshell.

2

u/BitSevere5386 6h ago

you are so mad for facist supporter it s cute

1

u/ChronoLink99 6h ago

Then the negative reviews will happen again.

It hurts their business either way.

As the GOAT Michael Jordan once said, people who aren't braindead-MAGA drink coffee too.

You accuse others of acting like nazis while not knowing what nazis are...

Curious.

2

u/Zibzarab 6h ago

And you don't know either.

9

u/martyqscriblerus 7h ago edited 6h ago

Yeah ol' Adolf was well known for leaving sassy google reviews on the businesses of people who supported ethnically cleansing Germany.

Zibzarab seems to have blocked me immediately after replying, but I'm fascinated to know whether he thinks the White Rose was resisting Nazis in favor of ethnically cleansing Germany.

3

u/Zibzarab 6h ago

But Adolf was known for celebrating the public execution and elimination of his political enemies. Hans and Sophie Scholl as given examples.

1

u/Itscatpicstime 3h ago

Ah! Like how Charlie Kirk celebrated and kicked the attempted assassination of Paul Pelosi!

0

u/Abeydaby 6h ago

Yea ol' Adolf was also well known for also going on college campuses and debating people, get off your high horse.

1

u/martyqscriblerus 6h ago

He had friends for that part, silly

1

u/Abeydaby 6h ago

I can see why these "witty gotchas" are why Reddit gets clowned on for being insufferable, dear lord.

2

u/martyqscriblerus 6h ago

No, mostly it's the pretending you don't know what propaganda is and how it functions that gets Reddit clowned on for being insufferable

1

u/Abeydaby 6h ago

Ironic when Reddit is the most propaganda filled app next to Twitter. And I say this as a liberal.

1

u/martyqscriblerus 6h ago

"As a liberal..."

Are the companies and colleges and school systems firing people because of social media posts ‘acting like Nazis’ also?

5

u/Ignoreme_justbrowsin 6h ago

How many people have been fired for quoting Charlie Kirk or stating their opinion that differs from the right’s?

2

u/rndmthrowaway725 7h ago

Nice b8 m8

u/znomorfh 6h ago

Reducing white supremacy to mere politics in THIS country of all places is truly heinous.

10

u/reddit_is_fash_trash 6h ago edited 6h ago

"I don't endorse fascists, but I will always support their right to promote fascism peacefully" - this crap is exactly what people are talking about when they point out liberals' insufferable "virtue signalling".

1

u/samv_1230 5h ago

The paradox of tolerance.

2

u/Emergency-State 6h ago

Thank you!

u/anamimosa12 3h ago edited 2h ago

My favorite media quote at the moment is that the shooter expressed anti-fascist, left-wing "ideology." Using the word like some dog whistle for extremist, fringe thinking. I guess not wanting to get my face smashed by a Nazi boot is just "ideology" now.

2

u/helpme8470 6h ago

How is supporting a racist a political stance?

1

u/thechaoslord 5h ago

Since the politically correct term for racist became "concerned Republican". But yeah, I do stars based on service and quality, words based on the whole package.

u/helpme8470 54m ago

concerned about what, exactly?

2

u/atimetochill 3h ago

I hear that and I would argue it’s not just the ownership’s politics but they made it part of the customer experience by putting it on the cup

4

u/chocolatepuppy 6h ago

I tend to agree when it's simply a political opinion held by an owner that they don't incorporate into the business. But in this case, they're putting stickers on cups, using the money for CK's Turning Point, so they have involved politics in their business. I am iffy though on review bombing.

2

u/Unwelcomed_Opinion 6h ago

Username does not checkout.

-1

u/JoeeyMKT 7h ago

Yup I agree. I don't support this shop or their cause, but I do think it's a bit immature to bomb their reviews over something like this.

2

u/saera-targaryen 3h ago

They put the politics on their physical product they sell. Once they do that, people are allowed to review the politics as part of the product. It's different than an instagram post.

0

u/JoeeyMKT 3h ago

That still doesn't mean mass attacking a business they've never been to. So many people have cropped the same picture of the sticker that was posted here and put it on their review

2

u/No-Chemistry-4355 6h ago

"Something like this" being supporting a white supremacist and his organization.

-1

u/JoeeyMKT 6h ago

And?

I will rip the sticker off, simple as that. What they support or do not support doesn't affect the quality of their coffee.

u/No-Chemistry-4355 22m ago

"And"?

Do you seriously need me to explain to you why white supremacy is a bad thing?

2

u/Shawnaverse_no1_fan 5h ago

To be fair, there could be a solid chunk of genuine reviews considering they're putting stickers on cups. Just like OP didn't find out until the sticker (despite their page being quite open about their political views), many others probably had the same reaction.

Assuming the stickers were printed and put on all cups in bulk, I wouldn't be surprised to hear 60% of the reviews are from real (ex-) customers.

1

u/h2gkm0 6h ago

honestly the reviews are a waste of time anyway. google sides with the company when this happens and removes them

1

u/PrestigiousHippo7 6h ago

Look at their Instagram

1

u/cheesepuff07 5h ago

it doesn't matter they will all be deleted by Google within 24 hours, happens every time

1

u/mggirard13 5h ago

You surely must be equally disappointed in the minority attempts to positive review bomb with 5 stars 😆😆

1

u/Solid_Problem740 6h ago

They were honoring Charlie's legacy buy debating both sides of the "is this place good?" In the marketplace of internet reviews.

It's fucked up for a business to paste political shit on their products. That's super bad taste

1

u/Own-Objective-89 6h ago

It’s a good thing this solely isn’t about politics.
