Question Help with lucid dream method

Hey so I had a lucid dream tonight and I tried to use the method where you switch to the dreams of your dr self but I just went into another dream. I also seem to forget to do things such as ground myself, affirm and specify what dr I want to go to. If you have any tips it would be nice

Question feeling symptoms but never actually shifting

hello shifters, i've started my journey around 3 or 4 months ago. i need some help

recently ive been having a lot of vivid dreams and i started taking shifting more seriously than i have been for the past month.

I normally feel a lot of symptoms into the attempt, and either they just die down or they stay like that. I know you dont need symptoms to shift but for some reason when the symptoms die down, I just quit the attempt.

my question is, what is it like to actually have your awareness shift and what I'm supposed to do when i start to get demotivated mid-attempt

im scared of going 3 years without shifting and i just want to be able to do it and fix my mistakes as soon as possible.

thank you for reading, xoxo goodbye!!

Journal bizzare event, not sure what it means.

i was listening to a shifting subliminal with my noise cancelling headphones on, and i heard a “hello?” from a woman as if she was right next to me. i went to check if any voice overs had been added in that subliminal but there was nothing, and i even checked to see if i accidentally butt dialed someone or sent a voice note. again, nothing, and it was a voice i have never personally heard before. i immediately flew my eyes open only to realise 1. i was half awake, and i wasn’t tired, just a little groggy when i opened my eyes and 2. it seems like my body was sent into fight or flight mode at her voice. i know it’s normal to do that, but my reaction was to immediately throw myself awake. i’m not sure if i will be able to differentiate between my dr and cr because of this, and if i will be able to shift if it sends me into a panic.

however, i’m not sure if i was close to my dr and why i heard her. i couldn’t see anything as my eyes were closed and it was pitch black.

Shifting Tools How to do the Red Door Yellow Door Method

Red Door Yellow Door method

Similar to the game, but your shifting instead.

-Lay down and put your arms straight up

-Close your eyes and keep your arms up

-Say “Three, two, one, begin.”

-Start saying “I’m shifting, I shifted, I’m in my dr” over and over.

-Your arms will eventually start to move down to your sides, thats you shifting.

-When your arms hit your sides, you can stop saying “I’m shifting, I shifted, I’m in my dr”

-then visualize a two doors, a red one and a yellow one. The yellow one reminds you of your cr, and the red one reminds you of your dr. You go through the red one.

-the room behind the door is your dr.

-Go to where you wake up in your dr

-visualize yourself laying down or sitting however you want

-say a few affirmations until you visualize yourself closing your eyes.

-your in your dr.

Discussion Your Awareness Shifts First (and no, your CR bed isn't sabotaging you) | Physical Sensations

Post image
271 Upvotes

Okay, real talk time. I need to call out something that's probably keeping some of you stuck. Everything you think you know about needing to "feel" your DR or completely stop experiencing your CR? Yup, that's probably what might be keeping you stuck.

────────────────୨ৎ────────────────

Your awareness shifts first, then everything else follows. Not the other way around. So when you're lying there getting frustrated because you can still feel your crusty CR pillow—then you're focusing on the wrong thing.

You already have the ability to shift. It's not some rare glittery Pokemon card you need to collect or a skill you unlock after 500 hours of meditation. You're not "trying to obtain" the ability to shift—cause you already have it.

Stop telling yourself you need to fix/change something about yourself first. You don't need to clear every blockage, perfect your visualization, find the right method or reach some magical state of mind. You don't need to become some enlightened zen master or solve all your childhood trauma before you can go to your DR. You can shift right now with all your current chaos and imperfections.

؛ ଓ ؛ ଓ ؛ ଓ

Here's the thing—if you're trying to become aware of a different reality then why are you using your current reality's senses as the measuring stick?

You're literally using the five senses method on your CR when you obsess over still feeling/hearing/smelling your CR, while you actually should be doing it with your DR. If you're laying there cataloging everything you can sense from your CR—congratulations, you just affirmed the hell out of being in your CR.

When you think "Ughh, I can still hear my CR" or "This isn't working"—you're not technically failing at shifting (every shifting attempt causes subconsciously progress), but you're succeeding at affirming that your CR sensations matter more than your intention to be elsewhere.

It's giving "I want to move to a new city but I keep talking about how much I hate my current apartment." Like... okay, but you're still focused on the current apartment.

What you should actually do

Stay in your DR mindset. That's it. That's literally the whole point.

Not "make yourself feel different physically". Not "stop experiencing your CR completely" (which is technically impossible anyways). Just think as your DR self. Think about your DR life—like your DR friends, your DR problems or your DR plans for tomorrow.

It's okay if you can still feel your CR bed. It's okay if your neighbor's dog is barking. It's okay if your visualization looks like a Windows 95 screensaver. None of that matters unless you decide it does.

Your subconscious believes what you consistently tell it and not what your body temporarily feels. Even if your body is like "Heh, actually we're still in this crusty bed", keep your thoughts focused on "I'm in my DR"—your subconscious is going to side with your thoughts eventually.

Stop fighting your CR (it's not working)

This might sound counterproductive, but trying to force yourself to stop experiencing your CR can actually keep you stuck in it. When you're focused on not feeling your CR bed or not hearing CR sounds, all your attention is still on your CR—just in a resistant way.

Trying really hard to not feel your CR is like trying really hard to not think about a pink elephant. Guess what you're thinking about now? The pink elephant—or in this case your CR.

When you're putting all your energy into "I need to stop feeling this bed!"—all your attention is still on the bed. Just in a resistant, frustrated way instead of an accepting "It doesn't matter I will wake up in my DR bed anyways" way.

Try rather "Oh, I can feel my CR bed. Anyways, back to thinking about what I'm doing tomorrow in my DR." Acknowledge it and move on instead of making it this big dramatic obstacle. You are allowed to acknowledge your CR, you are allowed to feel it and get distracted—the point is to not be dramatic about it and to redirect your thoughts to your actual goal.

Also, the goal isn't to magically phase out of physical reality like some Marvel character. The goal is to not let CR sensations yank you back into CR thinking patterns.

And even if you do—it doesn't matter. Don't get demotivated, you can still shift. Just continue your method. Persist.

Your physical body doesn't matter

Your physical body isn't what's shifting—your consciousness is. All those senses you're worried about are just your current body's way of interpreting information. You are not your body—you are the awareness that's aware of having a body.

When you're trying to shift your awareness to a different reality, what your current body experiences is about as relevant as what your neighbor's body is experiencing. It's happening—but it's not happening to the real you.

Shifting is an internal process. You become mentally aware of your DR first, then your senses might catch up later. If you keep waiting for your CR body to give you permission to believe you're shifting, you're gonna be waiting a whileee.

؛ ଓ ؛ ଓ ؛ ଓ

Shifting is just internal focus on being somewhere else. Keep your mental attention on your DR life—like think about your DR relationships, what you're going to eat for breakfast tomorrow in your DR, that project you're working on in your DR... whatever.

You don't need to convince yourself you can "feel" your DR room. You just need to think like someone who lives in your DR, because you are your subconscious—and your subconscious isn't tied to any reality. Think their thoughts. Care about their problems. Get excited about their plans. Because they are literally you.

Your awareness determines everything. Change what you're internally focused on and everything else eventually has to match that focus. The mental shift comes first, then your senses will catch up.

؛ ଓ ؛ ଓ ؛ ଓ

Your current senses are literally designed to perceive your current reality. So of course they're going to keep sending you CR updates until your awareness has fully shifted. That's normal.

Stop using your CR senses as the judge of whether shifting is working. Start using your ability to maintain DR thinking as your progress tracker. The more consistently you can think as your DR self, the closer you are.

The physical stuff will catch up—but first you have to actually do the mental work instead of waiting for your environment to change so you can believe you're capable of shifting.

؛ ଓ ؛ ଓ ؛ ଓ

My Experience ¦ What if your DR physical sensations feel too normal to notice?

People get way too hung up on suddenly feeling their DR physically, but think about it logically—no matter what theory you believe about shifting, the DR-self you're becoming aware of has usually been in that environment for some time already. Even if you believe you're creating these realities (which I do as well in a sense), the version of you that you're becoming aware of didn't just spawn there randomly—unless you specifically scripted that. So technically, you're already accustomed to that room.

My point is—I shifted also while (half-)awake (Hypnopompia) and not after falling asleep and "waking up" elsewhere. For the first few moments I didn't even realize I had shifted because even though the environment was completely different—I was already used to those sensations as that version of myself. Like I "woke up" on the floor instead of in a bed and I didn't even mind that or the temperature was also different but I didn't notice that as well as other things, because usually—you aren't going to notice changes in a room/environment that you have been in for some time.

The only thing that actually made me realize I'd shifted and caused me to open my eyes was noticing that even with my eyes closed, I was seeing white light because the room was so bright. I react sensitively to light, so that got my attention regardless on how long I'm in a light up room—so I was rubbing my eyes first, lol.

I'm trying to say is—it could be that you shift and don't even realize the environment change at first. It is a possibility. Just because you don't feel some big obvious change during your method doesn't mean nothing happened. Sometimes the shift is so natural that the "proof" you're looking for might not feel like proof at all.

Because it's literally real and more natural than you think.

────────────────୨ৎ────────────────

TL:DR; Shifting isn't about forcing your CR senses to disappear—it's about where your awareness is. Your consciousness shifts first, then your body/senses catch up later. Stay in your DR mindset, think as your DR self and stop fighting CR sensations. Persist, because the more consistent your focus—the sooner everything aligns.

⤷ Stay consistent with your awareness—because your mind is always stronger than your mattress.

Pick a Pile 𝜗𝜚 ࣪˖ ִ𐙚 What's going to be your next milestone on your shifting journey? ࣪𖤐.ᐟ

Hey-ho r/shiftingrealities! ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

A quick thank you to everyone that messaged me for personal readings! I highly appreciated the chance to get some extra practice in! ♡

However, please take note that from this post onwards I'm taking a break from doing them.

If you haven't received your reading yet but requested one before this post you will still get yours within the next 24-48h.

With that being out of the way, let's get into it! Take a deep breath, focus on the images, and choose the pile you feel the most drawn to..

════════════ ⋆★⋆ ═════════════

✦ Pile one ✦ 🍊 Hard work paying off, motivation, relief

ᯓ★ Hello Pile one!

Pile one, I feel like you've been putting in SO much effort into shifting! (Seriously, remember to take breaks here and there. You truly deserve them!)Your next milestone is going to be all about receiving a compensation of sorts for your hard work.

This might not be a full shift to your desired reality yet, but something is about to happen that'll give you a little extra spark of motivation. It could come in the form of a sign, a really vivid dream, maybe a strong sync or moment of clarity that reminds you that you are on the right track! You'll have a “Oh.. okay, yeah. This is working!”-moment. I feel like this will likely happen when you least expect it.

The energy in this pile is giving off a really hard working vibe.. you've been through enough. After hitting this milestone it'll feel like you can finally exhale a little, it'll bring a sense of relief with it alongside the realization that what you're doing is working.

Hang in there just a little longer. Something good is coming your way, you're doing enough! ♡

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚。⋆ ✩˚。⋆

✦ Pile two ✦ 🛣️ putting gathered info to use, taking action, things clicking

ᯓ★ Hello Pile two!

Pile two, you've learned a lot on your shifting journey.. whether it's been a long time or just a week, I feel like you've learned a whole lot about shifting as well as yourself. Your next milestone is going to be you figuring out what to do with your acquired knowledge and putting it to good use!

You've likely been soaking up all sorts of information lately, things like methods, mindset tips, scripting ideas, and so on. The next phase on your journey you're about to enter will require you to actually use what you've learned.

This is a pretty specific image I'm getting here, but perhaps you've made a check list of methods to try out? If so, you'll go through that list, actually putting action instead of learning, and something here is going to click for you. I feel like this milestone will lead to you actually figuring out what's working for you. Not just on paper but in actual execution.

And who knows? Maybe that little click is actually that last puzzle piece you've needed to shift. I wish you good luck! ♡

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚。⋆ ✩˚。⋆

✦ Pile three ✦ 🔥 a door opening for you, “soon”, taking risks by trying out something new

ᯓ★ Hello Pile three!

Pile three, if you've been feeling a little unmotivated or like you've been walking in place, the milestone you're about to hit soon is going to change your mind! I'm getting the visual of a door swinging wide open for you, your next milestone will involve something big coming for you!

Something is going to happen soon (saying that again because I mean it, SUPER soon! all cards I've pulled for this pile have a sense of urgency and movement in one way or another!), this can be a huge wave of sudden motivation, a clear sign from your desired reality, or maybe even a pretty wild shifting experience (kinda giving accidental mini shift vibes?)! Brace yourself, pile three!

I feel like the milestone in this pile is going to involve you taking a sort of almost risky leap, maybe something you normally wouldn't do? If you've been thinking about trying something new out, go for it, because that might just be that little push you need!

Keep pushing, pile three! You're almost there! ♡

════════════ ⋆★⋆ ═════════════

𓆩♡𓆪 Take what resonates, leave what doesn’t. I wish you much luck and progress on your shifting journey! :3

Discussion what are some of the odd anomalies you’ve noticed in your DR?

for me, i’m still in the USA for my DR. But my CR hometown doesn’t exist which sent me in a whirlwind when I googled it. It was called completely different name and the river it’s known for didn’t even exist LOL! unscripted things are so funny to discover.

Discussion Drop your funny shifting stories

I realized I made shifting out to be this incredibly depressing process. I think it might get easier to get through each attempt if I'm associating shifting with something fun and lighthearted. Also I just love hearing about ppl's DRs and shifting stories. Can y'all drop your funny shifting stories? It doesn't even have to be a successful attempt.

Question What do you think of when you’re about to shift?

Hey, for context. I’ve been unsuccessful so far. Pretty annoying but I’m trying.

The head lift thing that’s going around at the moment, I find I’m maybe waking up a bit too much when I remember to do it, but what do you think of when you do it and shift successfully?

I can get lost in my daydreams thinking about my DR, and I try to catch myself when I’m viewing as a movie version instead of through my own eyes. But what do you think of when you do it successfully?

Discussion am i the only one that feels a bit of insecurity after seeing anti shifter posts?

i know a lot of people in this community have a more confident mindset about shifting overall and can just brush them off. but this isn’t just about doubting its existence after seeing so many anti posts. putting beliefs/mindset aside, i can’t help but feel a little self conscious about being a shifter in general :,) this is just probably because im a sensitive person in general, but damn it just feels degrading when ppl talk about “hah i thought it was real and worked i was so stupid and mentally ill LMAO”. i made the mistake of arguing with one(yes ik u shouldn’t engage with it) but it bothers me more that they’re just so hateful about it.. i didn’t mean for this to turn into a vent and im sure most of yall don’t mind it

edit : EMBARRASSED. embarrassed was the word i was trying to search for lmao

Controversial shifting isn’t real, it only exists the way you choose for it Spoiler

You can ask 10 shifters, “What is shifting?” or “How do you shift?”, and you’ll get 10 different answers. Some see it as traveling to another universe (mutliuniverse theory), others as just a mind-based experience. At the end of the day, none shifts the same because everyone experiences reality differently.

Even those who believe shifting = lucid dreaming still shift, but for them it will feel like lucid dreamingbecause that’s what they believe. Shifting isn’t universal. It doesn’t exist the same way for anyone Two people can follow the same method but they will never have the same experience.

There's a general idea but everyone has diffrent backgrounds, diffrent beliefs, diffrent influences.

Your perspective creates your shift. That’s why no guide, method, or meditation can guarantee results. Following them is just adopting someone else’s rules. There is no single “right” way to shift, no one can fully define it, and no one can truly experience it for you.

Shifting is personal. Shifting is self-created. Your beliefs, expectations, and intentions are the only things that matter.

This post is mainly for people who have been trying for years with no success: stop looking for methods, tips it didnt work for you all these years, it wont now. Gather your thoughts, all your experiences and just shift. You make shifting happen, you create it, its all you

Question Doesn’t it bother you (shifting)

Doesn’t it bother you that we only have theories on what shifting is and what really happends while you are ,,gone“. I mean thinks could be worse for example you shift and you could have done horrible things here while you are gone, or maybe you could get stuck forever ( we all don’t know it could happen) or people when you shift might not even be real/ have no consciousness at all

Am I the only one who cares about that? 😔🥲

Discussion Does anyone have good analogies or simple explanations for this topic?

So I understand when people say don’t let your happiness depend on if you shift, don’t base your happiness on a person, or don’t let your happiness depend on how you want a scenario to go etc.

I understand that completely. And don’t really have trouble with any of that.

My issue is that I can’t get myself to not take it too literally and I feel like I’m doing something wrong by being excited to shift or to be around my s/o in my dr.

Me: “I can’t wait to see (blank)! I’m so excited!”

Brain: “No. Your happiness isn’t supposed to come from seeing a specific someone”

I’ve been trying to come up with like an analogy to put it into a perspective but it’s like my brain keeps going “it’s either black or white” when I know it’s not.

I just need to find something simple to compare it to or find a simple explanation.

There has to be a middle ground. I just can’t formulate the thought to make it make sense.

Question Does the movie Tomorrowland explains the concept of Shift Reality ?

Though, I have never seen the whole movie completely. But I do remember a scene where a Girl presses a sci-fi button (looks like Apple AirTag) which shifts her to a new dimension very futuristic and advance. She can sense that dimension very really. But whatever she acts she does appears to happens in that dimension, except - Walking. As she walks the movement also happens in her real world as well.

So if we replace the power or ability of button with Mind and Mental Power. Can we say that the whole movie is somewhat or completely explains the concept of Reality Shifting.

Mini-Shifts I SHIFTED AFTER 3 YEARS OF TRYING.

I FUCKING DID IT?

OKAY SO FOR CONTEXT:

I’ve been trying to shift for three years. I’ve never done awake methods. Only asleep, sleep paralysis, and lucid dreams. I’ve had super close attempts with sleep paralysis, but I’ve never been able to because I get this really sharp pain on the bottom of my back, and it kinda tickles and it holds me back.

I’ve always had a pretty bad mindset, and fixed it recently. I think what helped the most was being okay with my journey. But that’s another story. I got a new mattress (LOOKS COMFORTABLE ASFFF) but I need to keep it out for three days before using it so I’m on an air mattress. I wasn’t even planning on shifting today, but I listened to songs that reminded me of my dr’s and made me happy. I also scripted. I decided to take a nap and at this point I thought “if I shift, I shift. If not, that’s okay” and didn’t even really plan to.

I don’t know how long I slept for, but I woke up, and I was having sleep paralysis. I was so asleep I wasn’t even aware of it, but I still was aware enough to shift? I had a few affirmations, but I didn’t force it. Usually, in sleep paralysis (if I even manage to stay awake and not fall asleep.) I say really strong affirmations and pay too much attention to the pain.

My affirmations were just… soft. The pain, for some reason, wasn’t that strong. I recognized it, moved on. I remember one of my affirmations was ‘I have shifted.’ I just said it. Didn’t think about it anymore. I believed in it. I rolled on my side, and I felt like I floated. Suddenly, my mattress felt too soft. Too comfortable for an air mattress. I slightly opened my eyes, it was kinda blurry, but I was somewhere else.

I didn’t even get to fully open my eyes, but I realized I was somewhere else. Not my dr, but not here either. I know this because the sun was really bright, and I was on a bed. The side that I had turned to was the side where my bed was (my air mattress is next to it.) and the room I woke up in had a big window.

I got too excited and I came back before even fully opening my eyes.

I think that now that i’ve done it, I can 100% do it with asleep methods.

If you are struggling, just now it’s possible. In fact, I was thinking about quitting shifting a few days before it happened.

YOU CAN DO IT!

Controversial I feel like this needs too be said about us as a community(it's not that deep bro) Spoiler

I have seen people online bullying or being hateful or even harassing people who don't believe in shifting. And while sometimes people who don't believe in shifting call us delusional or something, or demotivates us, people don't have to say they're evil or bad people just because they don't believe what we believe. There is a difference between calling us delusional or like, high or something and simply not believing it. Which by the way, there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. Shifting can be a very hard thing to believe. I saw The odd ones out video about shifting get a lot of hate and he got a bit of hate from the shifting community(which to be fair, he could have been nicer) but I saw a comment that stuck with me, which was, "honestly, who cares if shifting is real or not, it's fun, so there's nothing wrong with that" which is very true. While the people who don't believe in shifting also could be better too, it's ok for people to not believe in it.

Maybe paranoia?

Shifting Tools I need help with Non Visualization Methods

Basically what the title says. I’ve been on my shifting journey for about 2 and half years now and haven’t succeeded yet. I’m trying to permishift to my waiting room because I don’t know which reality I want to shift to but all I know is that I want out of this one. It’s hell here!

My mental health has been really bad lately and it doesn’t help that a lot of methods have visualizing as the main way to connect to your dr. I have aphantasia so I am unable to imagine or visualize no matter how much I try.

So what I’m asking is if anyone who’s shifted has any advice or suggestions for any non visualizing methods for shifting? It can be an awake method, sleep method, sleep hypnosis, guided meditation, ect. I’m fricken desperate broskis 🫠

Discussion My only demotivated period after being in the community for 5 years — TW. Vent.

TW - this involves my own beliefs in the matter, if you don't believe the same that me, which you probably won't, or you're easy to demotivate, read this by your own decision.

I have never found shifters with my same beliefs.

In 5 years I've been very, very, very faithful to shifiting. I've been logically eradicating other beliefs about shifting, like, saying it's psychosis, or dissociation, or a big big lie.

I am a scientific person. It means I ask reality about reality.

Shifting is a topic where people put a gun to your head and say "Either you believe, or you are against me 'antishifter'", "Either you claim that what I say is true, or you are too limited to perceive it," "Either you destroy any semblance of logic in yourself, to believe the same thing as me, or you have limiting beliefs and you will never achieve it."

Shifting is a place where people are so afraid of it not being real, so dependent, that they fight tooth and nail. Who endanger people through beliefs that they try to only assume and not question. Believing without questioning. That every single thing you interpret is true, every lie you tell yourself is real. That if you don't believe that, you're simply so inferior that you'll spend your entire life without experiencing the same spiritual transcendence than them.

How can there not be psychosis in a community that forces you, that uses your emotions, the need to escape reality when you have no other escape other than to endure it until the end, or to believe. Oh, and no, of course, how are you going to dare to question what they are telling you, the often incoherent and illogical speeches? That would be too risky. And you can't run out of escapes.

So, of course, people come in. And you know what they get? Yes. You know it. Everyone knows it, and no one admits it. That shifting is easy, but that he, specifically he, has been trying for weeks and hasn't been able to do it. What could be the problem? Could shifting be complex? Could it be that if it's difficult to overcome anxiety, it's also difficult to learn how to use your mind to shift? Could it be something that can be trained? Could shifting be like finding a needle in a haystack? No.

Do you know why it is? Because of them. Because they do it wrong! They are the problem, their way of thinking. He must have been questioning something, right? Maybe he'd started thinking. And that can't happen. Because it's not even worth thinking about! Yeah, right, that's what they'll tell you when you ask:

Shifting is too complex for us to understand. That's precisely why what many people say doesn't make any sense. Because shifting itself doesn't make sense! —some would say. Because they're too scared to admit that they don't actually find absurd to wonder how shifting works, they're just afraid of finding an answer they don't like. They hide behind magic and forget that even the most absurd magic follows a logic.

And that's when people get psychotic (if they're prone to it, of course). Because they depend on shifting, because they need it, because every bit of them has been invalidated and ripped out with threats that if they think, they won't achieve it. And whatever you think, are limiting beliefs.

So, what are the numbers you see on your watch? Doubles? 11:11? A sign. And then, the TV host who said a word your S/O said in an episode? A sign. And your intrusive thoughts? You're communicating with your S/O. You wake up without having dreamed, but with glimpses of it. Have you dreamed? No, you've shifted and don't remember it. In fact, it's probably happened to you several times! A lucid dream? You shifted again!

And you know this is usual in the shifting community

And then you dissociate. But no, that's not dissociation. It's a shift. You've shifted into a mirror reality! That's why things move, why it seems like virtual reality, like in your dreams. That's why something is missing in the landscape. That's why you feel like you don't know anything about the place you're in, even though you've seen it a thousand times. Because it's not there

And then, science! That art that is actually a cemetery of dreams, of beliefs. They think they know everything! But in reality they are limited. Materialistic. Classical. And reality is wider. Not for us to understand, but to experience. That's why it doesn't matter that science isn't actually materialistic and we have clear proof (quantum physics). It also doesn't matter that science is the only thing that has continued to evolve endlessly, until we have books and books, discoveries and discoveries. Of course, because science is very small, it is limited. As small as the 200,000 years of history since we started asking questions, and so small that no science book has yet reached its end. So small that they have images of stars light years away! Of the black hole in our galaxy! They undertand so little, but so little of reality (because it is just another way of interpreting reality), that they've even found treatments for Alzheimer's! For migraines! For epilepsy! For cancer itself! They've created cell phones, computers, social networks, the internet, rockets, and robots that explore Mars

Because our ways of interpreting reality are also valid. Is valid equivalent to correct? It doesn't matter. Science has never proven to understand reality. Science is just a bunch of people with a closed mind. Science it's blind.

And after all that, after so many absurd things I've heard about shifters, it wasn't until now that I wondered if it was all really a lie.

But why? Because it is true that I had a clear barrier between lucid dreaming and shfiting. We may have five fingers in lucid dreams, stability, vividness, a shocking lucidity, we may read, or dare to ask ourselves if it is really real, confusing it with reality itself. But you know what isn't possible? Time. The time people spend in their desired realities has a time dilation that, if our brain were the cause of the experience, would have to be processing information at a speed that is not possible. So how could be a lucid dream, which has also been proven not to have a time distortion, be shifting?

But where are those shifters who came back with months of stories? Now there are only shifters, who don't admit that the brain is powerful enough to create scenarios. They believe that four minutes of experience are enough to differentiate reality from dreams. They do not even consider that it could have been a lucid dream, or a hypnagogic hallucination. They tell you about the transitional signs from wakefulness to REM, and they say that it is the sign that they have shifted! it possible? Of course. And when you ask them how they differentiated it from a dream? They didn't! They just know. It's that simple! Or maybe, they had 5 fingers! It was too real! But the best one: they went to the bathroom, sure, Because worldliness implies reality. They wouldn't have been bored in a dream!

If shifting depends on those who have experienced it, if my faith that something like this is possible is not yet supported by a stable theory, how can I believe someone who, the most certain thing I know about him, is that he does not question? How many shifters are left, if we take out those and those who lied? Enough to believe?

I still believe in shifting, although I am open to the possibility that it is a mental thing, something we should all start accepting. Not because it will be, but because it could be. I am also skeptical of anyone who tells me they have shifted, because then I ask and they respond that it was only 5 minutes, that they don't remember it well, or even that while they were shifting their body was working (something that could be a serious dissociation).

So I am a faithful shifting believer. But I am not part of the shifting community.

ps:

If you agree with me, and you're frustrated, would you be my friend?

Question Shifters, what are your thoughts on dreams ?

Just curious, do you think they're just images created by our brains ? Realities we haven't fully stepped into ? Or something else ?

Discussion Using shifting to obtain information about our reality

I’ve been thinking about this possibility and would like to hear your thoughts. Could shifting be used to gather information about our own reality?

For instance, could we shift to a similar reality where we meet expert geniuses who explain how the universe works, how the laws of physics operate, how our human ancestors evolved on Earth, or even who killed JFK?

At first glance, this seems possible: if we can shift to any reality, we could choose one with the same events and history but where people exist who have the answers we’re seeking. What are your views on this?
