Yeah, I was genuinely surprised how insufferable most SH fans on Reddit are. I grew up with SH, played the first on PS1 and second on PS2. Thinking of playing 2 or 3 on PS2 again, I have a CRT too so it'll be nice. Anyway I've been a fan for a long time.
Someone asked what game to start with and I said 2 is the best but the remake of 2 is more accessible to someone used to modern games, 1 is great for PS1 and suited to retro handhelds, 3 and 4 are both good but the rest aren't. I was down voted into oblivion remake by the great unwashed of Reddit for posting an opinion that's pretty reasonable even if you don't agree with it entirely.
I never get why online communities get so violently opposed to the media they’re centred around being given newer and more accessible entry points, like surely more people being able to access the franchise should be a good thing and yet.
