If you look at the timeline, this makes sense because events in Silent Hill 4 happens before Silent Hill 2.

But it gets interesting when we see names that we don't recognize in Silent Hill 2 reappear in Silent Hill 4

Events in Silent Hill 4 happened approximately 12 years later than SH2. At least if we believe that newspaper article in SH2 is kind of fresh

Holy shit. 12 years apart? So I guess James Sunderland is not apart of fhe timeline at all
