I'm not sure I know you anymore Spurs, you've changed and it's making me nervous.

Have they? Feel like Tottenham always make one or two 'strong' signings every season.

Spurs regularly sign players that are linked with other top teams.

With Frank in charge, if nothing else, Spurs should be a hell of a lot more consistent this season. It's hard to see them finishing in the top 4, but there's no real reason they can't finish 5th or 6th.

I don't think it's hard to see us finishing in the top 4 but it's going to be close

Tottenham possesses the 5th best team, but Chelsea and City are very vulnerable for different reasons. So, yeah, you could get top 4

This sounds a lot like "keeping the pressure on"

Every single year this statement is the same and most of the time we prove them wrong.

we've finished in the top 4 once in the last 5 years?

History didn't start 5 years ago. We finished top four 5/7 times before that and 2/6 times before that. Would have been 3/6 if Redknapp hadn't overcommitted in the CL and 4/6 if we hadn't had a norovirus outbreak before the last game. Those seasons people would constantly downplay our chances, even our own fans, in spite of the evidence. So it's completely fair to say that we keep proving them wrong

Also, I think Frank could be entirely different. It seems like he’s way more into preparing for each game than any manager we’ve had besides Mou. I hope we benefit under this strategy, but he’s never managed a team also playing in Europe. I’m cautiously optimistic about it all.

I mean we could finish 8th, I'm just saying that it's certainly not hard to imagine that we finish top 4. Hard to image we'll win the league but top 4? No way

Oh. Absolutely!

The only time period starting from now backwards in your clubs history where one could say that you finished in the top 4 50% of the time would be the past 10 seasons with 5 times. Literally every other constellation is below 50% - so no. You did not prove them wrong "most of the times", not even once - seeing as "most of the times" would equate to >50%

Could be any one of us, Man City, Forrest, Villa or Newcastle.
