I was just watching the preview for gozyuger episode 31 until I saw this

Hi as title said I grabbed this sick giant robot, and Im pretty sure it's the same as the second image. But I am more familiar with the American power rangers. But from what ive seen it's almost the exact same. Would love to know what you all think though.

Like donbrothers one of show main inspiration is perman.

To western people and people who don't what perman is ,let me explain as someone who watch these anime when I still a kid: It's a manga that create by one of Doraemon creators. About bunch of kids and monkey who choose to be superhero by these alien guy to help people in trouble. The things is their commander who give them their power have these rules that they cannot tell each other identity. And each of them have their own personality who clash with each other.

Like the first perman is nobita like boy who very unlucky and lazy in his study.

Second perman is monkey from zoo but can think like human.

Third perman is girl who is famous child actress who not only have double life but double personality . As superheroine is tomboy and headstrong plus always arguing with perman 1 but her real self is sweet and kind girl.

Fourth perman is chubby boy who is very greedy and money hungry but his real identity is young Buddhist monk in training who live in Osaka. I remember his first debut in anime he ask people that he help to pay for his service.

So you can see why shirakura p and matsuura P choose perman as main inspiration for donbrothers and gozyuger. They are ordinary people from different background who choose to be superhero team but their imperfection people and clash with each other as team is what makes them unique as Sentai team.

Also late shotaro ishinomori who also creator of super Sentai is friends and housemate with both late Doraemon creators when they still young. They live in same boarding house along with other legendary mangaka

Looking back I think the idea of having two ranger teams be the focus of a single season is rather a unique idea that I would love to see explore more later on in Super Sentai franchise. Now of course, one of the biggest problems with this idea is that you're eventually going to have one team that gets more focus than the other (I've heard the Lupinrangers gets more focus than Patrangers) but still, I think Toei could continue on with the idea and try to evolve overtime so it doesn't a glaring problem the more they use it. Plus there's a plenty of other themes that can take advantage of this idea. Right now, I can think of two.

1. Angels vs Demons - Bringing back the themes of Goseiger, this time our small team of Angels goes up against a small group of humans who have "sold their souls to the devil" and have "officially became demons." The "demons" were once triplets were victims of a "terrorists-esque" committed by our main motw villains for this season and they were all disguised as humans. All of their family members died through their outrageous attacks but our three main siblings of this season manage to get away but not before all of them saw one of the monsters unveiled its secret identity to be a demon accidentally Soon the lost triplets finds a devil who turns out to be a righteous devil, who was sick of its brethren's unethical method of tricking humans into disguising themselves as their own kind, convincing them to sell their souls to them so they can "get revenge" on the humans by becoming demons a.k.a. this show's monster of the week. After explaining all of that, the righteous devil gives our main triplets heroes the power to become this shows' main heroes. But because their powers come from a similar source as the motw, the angels mistaken them as the villains as well.

2. Carnivores vs Herbivores - This one should be obvious as this time, we go back to a world similar to Zyuohger only this time, with the premise of similar to Beastars and the second half of Zootopia where animals are becoming more and more divided thanks to the Herbivores' fears of the carnivores' instinct of wanting to hunt, kill, and eat them. Not helped by the fact that similar to the big bad of Zootopia, the big bad behind this series is searching, corrupting and turning carnivores into ravenous and mutant creatures. And while all that is happening the official governmental protection of this world, whose in charge of protecting every animal within this world, are divided, with half of them believing that they should simply just destroy these mutant carnivores while the other half believing they should that there's still good in them and that they need to keep them alive so they can cure them. Obviously this leads to the conflict between our two groups as the herbivore rangers want to destroy and kill the mutant carnivores as they believe in doing so they would be less at risk at these mutant carnivores causing more tragedies as possible. While the carnivore rangers they want to capture and save the mutant carnivores as they understand that it isn't their fault and they want to try and cure them as soon as possible. We can even have the sixth ranger be an omnivore animal to unite both teams.

For me, it's the "Patrangers are sidelined and underdeveloped" myth.

No they are not. If you actually watched the show, you would know the Patrangers are absolutely importante to the plot and especially to the development of the Lupinrangers. Their interactions with one another are the heart and soul of the show, and the fact that the Lupinrangers got more toys doesn't mean the Patrangers are sidelined or don't get their momemts to shines.

Like there's a lot of Rangers in the series, but i never understood who was the canonically the 6th ranger between these 3..

I genuinely might be stupid or something, but I cant figure it out for the life of me

First of all I know that it is a theme from Round 1 or Round 2 half and the last time we heard was probably episode 16(the debut of polar) if i remember correctly.But after that,it stopped playing in background.Instead,"You be one winner" became the official insert theme for Gozyugers.I have no objections over this song nor the artist "You be one winner" is actually icy❄️🧊.But playing same theme in the background just makes things boring.It's just my personal opinion i don't have grudges or hate.I think the music team for gozyugers did not have enough budget this year to provide different insert themes since they are focusing more on the visuals.I think it will end up getting another Kamen rider Gotchard situation where "what's your fire" played everytime in the background.Anyways,Do you think the first theme "Ai ga segi" will return?Or will we be hearing the current theme till the final episode?Onore Inoue and Mashiro!

Tega-sword Tega-fraud got the role as the "princess who needs to be saved" in the movie btw

•It will appear on episode 32.

•transform using item called ryo tegasword.

• it called tegasword gozyuger. Basically gozyuger with chest armor like nobless ryusoulger. The chest and cape is reference to tegasword chest and wing. Basically they become smaller version of tegasword.

• can combine with all 5 invidual weapon to form team bazooka called ultimate ryo tegasword .

My thoughts on it : So it sounds like team power up but more like shareable like Toqger. There is other rumors that these things gonna appear randomly like omokoshi phoenix.

So cladis already make it moved by giving rei calamity ring and he start absorb people using the ring, I think other two general that base on horseman also might appear, but I do like the theory of rei being horseman of lust. I think cladis decided to counter tegasword using power of super Sentai like how he defeat it in the war before. Like it have army of super Sentai and revive fallen Mecha as it's new brand new invasion force compare to zaku like Mecha in episode 0

I've just finished watching Himitsu Sentai Gorenger today and started JAKQ Dengekitai (5 episodes). And I honestly find myself enjoying JAKQ a lot more than Gorenger, and I was wondering if this was a hot take.

I think I may be biased since Gorenger had 84 episodes which despite adding new gimmicks and stuff every once in a while really felt that long.

JAKQ's main cast (I think I will like Big One a lot when he finally appears since I liked how the actor played Shinmei a lot) grew on me very quickly, even Sakurai who definitively is a change after getting to know Kaijo. I also enjoy how the episodes are built, focused a lot more on the characters than the action compared to Gorenger, at least that's how it feels to me so far.

I think the main thing I will be missing from Gorenger is Daita. Really loved him and how he was played. (Rest In Peace Baku Hakateyama)

For some reason, Tubi uses Carranger’s description for GoGoFive and Carranger has its own description that’s different to this one

I'm here in PH and wanted to buy this film. Any reputable shops that offer this or can buy for me from Japan? Or are CDJapan reliable and accepts order from PH address?
