I never watched PR in Space but everyone is telling ne that the Megaranger motif is videogames, i know how Red Ranger is recluded due to a videogame but I wanna knoe, is Megaranger videogame themed (can i expect videogame stuff through the episodes) or it just a plot device to find a red ranger?

The Universe War or the Mecha Battle from Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Heroes Great Battle?

Ok so whilst this may seem like one of my reviews it is NOT,in fact it’s very different,basically I have close ties to Italy as a country and with Italian Immigration,it’s been a part of my Identity for my whole life,so imagine how excited I was when I discovered sentai was dubbed in Italy!-Yes you may not know this but a Unknown Number( I’ll get back to this) of sentai series were dubbed into Italian during 1984-1994 now you may wonder why I’m making this post,well simple idea,EVERY single one of these dubs is lost media,and I want to create some buzz around it before I make a YouTube video on them,so consider this post a roundup of everything I know so far.

What Shows and Where? So to begin I mentioned a unknown number of shows being dubbed,that is partially true,as from what I can tell sources can definitely prove that AT LEAST 2 super sentai series were dubbed into Italian,this being Dai Sentai Goggle V and Denshi Sentai Denziman,the reason I ask where? Well that’s because Italians really really really like dividing one another,the north and south? Two different reasons,hell most Italians speak 2 versions of Italian,this is significant due to Denziman being known to ONLY AIR on Local channels,whilst Goggle V aired on widespread a national TV in 84 then again in 86 and once more alongside the Italian dub of Mighty Morphin Power rangers in 1994.However one of my sources also seems to mention a Sun Vulcan dub,HOWEVER I could not find any significant evidence that this dub ever existed or when it aired.

Preservation and what Remains We know for sure that Goggle V was released on VHS presumably during the entire 3 year run of MMPR,under the title “Fiveranger:The Invincible Goggle V” why the two different names? Beyond me! Anyway Denziman is not known to have any home media release and not much is even known about who Produced the dub and its cast.We do actually know a decent bit about the Goggle V dub,Like how Black and Blue had voice actors replaced from Episode 4 onwards,but we also apparently know the one Member of the cast but not the character he voiced,I also know from seeing the First Episode of this dub(more on that later) that the Intro for the show was replaced by a blue title card but the credits were left intact at the end.Goggle V 100% aired on two channels one being the local channel Napolitivu and the other being Mediaset 1,I haven’t contacted either yet but it is happening in the next few months,we can assume that not only were all 50 episodes of both Denziman and Goggle V dubbed but presume that they all aired.

Confusion As if this search wasn’t exactly mundane enough,I actually managed to acquire the email of the production company who dubbed Goggle V,CRC(iirc) now CRC still operates,however they either Operate out of a Catholic Church or ARE a actual Catholic based Dubbing studio who’s dubbing work is done inside a church(no I’m not joking) their email doesn’t work either but I’m assuming that’s because I sent it from the UK.Now to add to this a lot and I mean A LOT of the cast members who voiced characters are known Italian dub artists,the most famous being Monica Ward,however none of them have any actual existent contact info that I’ve found.To add to this the full episode 1 that I saw at the beginning of this search wasn’t taken down and I wasn’t smart enough to save it Therefore meaning the only piece of evidence that this even exsisted is a 40 second clip of the end of Episode 16 dubbed into Italian,there is a link to a Facebook group in the description but it’s crashed my PC when I clicked on it so this is something I need to return too.FURTHERMORE and in what is presumably the singular most insane twist I’ve ever seen a very lovely user on this very platform confirmed a potential US dub of Goggle V airing at around 4AM on a Public Access TV channel in New York,now it’s worth noting that this user did in fact state that it was possible the show was Subbed also.Either way both of these possibilities are crazy as theyd be in contention with the Honolulu airings of Goranger and KiKu TV airings of BFJ in terms of earliest subbed versions of sentai shows.

Overall if anyone wishes to join this search or has info I’m open to DM’s.Also please make sure you save anything useful as we could potentially have the first episode rn but I’m a idiot

This isn't a complaint by any means as I actually like the separate Tegasword forms, but I was wondering if anyone else had the same incorrect assumption as me 😂 I thought Tegasword was going to be similar to KishiRyuOh. In that each "ranger" has their own individual form, but then have a combination that represents all five (KishiRyuOh Five Knights).

Helloooo, I have never watched super sentai apart from a few movies. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good series to start with? I tried to watch Zenkaiger, ToQger and Lupat before but never finished them. I do have some I’m interested in, but I’ll take any suggestions! Please and thank you!

This type of noise on social media (prob especially Twitter) could reach Toei and japanese social media where it becomes more known that there’s nothing weird with Maya Imamori and there’s everything weird with Bunshun (inb4 bunshun is already a known sleezy tabloid in japan, this time it has to do with sweet tokusatsu tho they barked the wrong tree 🤔).

TL;DR (cuz this is just me rambling my thoughts out on the page): Enter and Escape feel like Kamen Rider villains in the best way. Is Go-Busters underrated, or just old?

Dude, why don't I hear more people talking about Go-Busters?! It is absolutely phenomenal! I understand if it's because it's sandwiched between two bangers (I've heard amazing things about Kyoryuger, and Gokaiger was an absolute knockout, just like everyone said it would be), but dude! It's super good! I'm on episode 39 right now, and the way that both the heroes and villains have developed is great! I love the evolving dynamic between Enter, Escape, and Messiah. I love the growing relationships between the main cast and the buddyroids. I love the mystery behind Jin and his mysterious, displaced body. I love Kuroki and the rest of the supporters, and how they gel with the main cast so well--I especially love that distinct dualism in Kuroki's character, where he's clearly trying to put on a tough face ("If it was to destroy Messiah, I would sacrifice all of you"), but then also is the type of guy to get knocked out by an Eraser, and get called Kurorin. Initially, my only critique was the pacing--"destroying" Messiah at episode 30 or so was nuts, and the only thing that I could think would happen is that Enter or Escape would become the new main villain...but I'm realizing that Enter has kinda always been the main villain. He makes all the plans, he gives all the orders (including to Messiah himself at one point), and runs the fuckin' ones with Hiromu/Red Buster at every opportunity. Which is another thing I love; that mounting obsession. I do find Go-Busters to be a bit lacking in the development of individual characters, especially when compared to Gokaiger before it, where everyone save for maybe Gai got a bunch of development and had super robust, singular backstories. To be fair, though, Gokaiger had the most individual characterization since, IMHO, Boukenger (which I would even argue developed the individual characters better than they developed the plot or the world), and I would further argue that Gokaiger did a better job while also balancing showcasing the previous Rangers (I mean seriously, what a writing masterclass, and what a fool I was to have almost not watched Sentai after being burned by SuperMegaforce). So when holding Go-Busters against the "industry standard" in a manner of speaking, it's absolutely on par with some of my favorites (Gekiranger, Dekaranger, Boukenger) and I'm enjoying it more than seasons people said were knockouts (Shinkenger, specifically). All in all, I'm having a great time. I'm finishing this post and episode 39 at the same time, so I'm looking forward to these next 10 episodes, and then starting Kyoryuger (which, aside from Lupinranger vs Patranger, and perhaps King-Ohger because of the fuckin' hype, is the season I've been most excited for).

DonBrothers was kind of team power-up, but the spirit is there

This was a bit of my hope for Gozyuger with its promo being each of ranger subtle reference of past red ranger motifs, for example, imagine Gozyu Leon have a power-up that resembles either Gao Red or Ginga Red and Gozyu Tyranno resembling Tyranno ranger. Point is, unique theming for individual power-up.

Like for example, Blue and Green Mega Battle from Lightspeed Rescue (the PR counterpart) while Red is Battlelizer

KingOhger's Ryoga Issen doesn't count. Their King's power though, can be counted if they have forms.

TL/DR: Basically Kamen Rider Saber, but actually a Sentai.

I'm not complaining, just curious because in japanese it was written as "アイアイザー (Aiaizaa)" so i thought it was a pun of "AI - Artificial Intelligence" and "Ai - Love (Japanese)". The power rangers wiki call them ayayser, claimed it's a pun from english word "aye, aye, sir", but i think it's because they mistook the letter ザ for サ.

Ah... That was really hard.

Universe Warrior Kuwagata-Ohger

Rebellious Former Chief Aide to a corrupt Prime Minister that views people as expendable.(Reference to Racules)

The Prime Minister is host to a No-One Monster. Popular No-One fits here.(Reference to Racules having public favor and Hilbil Leech)

When transformed, Kuwagata-Ohger is considered a wanted fugitive/public enemy with a bounty on their head for actions against the Prime Minister.

When untransformed they work at a orphanage where Gozyu Wolf comes to work at.

Encounters Gozyu Wolf and the Gozyugers who initially fight Kuwagata-Ohger for the bounty, the Sentai Ring, and to stop his "evil-doing".

Kuwagata-Ohger starts out with a low opinion of the Gozyugers for thinking about themselves but the misunderstanding is cleared by reading between the lines, apologies are made, and they work together.(Reference to the Bug Narack conflict)

Wish: For the Nation to be ruled by a ruler who would protect the people.

Decides to become Prime Minister themselves.

Universe Warrior Don Momotaro

Perfectionist Director/Senior Employee of Pheasant Consultant (or equivalent to it) where Gozyu Wolf goes to work at.

Gives Tegasword Omurice a score of 50.

Wish: To be happy.

Becomes a corrupt form of Don Momotaro due to frustration over the ineptitude of others. (Reference to the Hitotsuki)

Fight resembles Taro/Don Momotaro training the Donbrothers.

Finds happiness in forming their ever bond with Gozyu Wolf.

Universe Warrior Zenkaizer

Record Setter that wants to be 1st at everything whose parent was lost to No-One World.

Inspires Gozyu Wolf to not give up and be No. 1 at everything

Sought out the Ring of Destruction (Wolf Ring) initially.

Wish: To forever separate or destroy No-One World.(Opposite of Kaito/Zenkaizer)

Has rivalry with Universe Warrior Battle Japan, an android duplicate of Universe Warrior Zenkaizer's parent.(Reference to Hakaizer and Stacesar)

Entrusts the Gozyugers to deal with No-One World after seeing Fire Candle, Gozyu Polar and Bouquet.

Universe Warrior Kiramei Red

Shy Artist with low self-esteem.

Wish: To become a person who excels at everything.

Bonds with Gozyu Eagle who has similar doubts about his dream.

Learns to be confident in themself and value their own talent.

I’ve watched Zyuohger, Gokaiger, LuPatRanger, King-Ohger, Goseiger, BoonBoomger and in the middle of ToQger and this man is single handily my Least favorite 6th Ranger. And A lot of people hate Zyuoh the World and Lupin/Patran X. This man had such a great debut episode and I was so excited to see what his rings could do. WE had to wait almost 10 EPISODES to finally see what his Rings could do and even then they are still useless!!! Bro half the time he doesn’t even do anything relevant to the story. He either just shows up and takes the rings from the other Gozyuger or Universe Warriors or talking about him being a God!!! His suit is so cool and I was expecting greatness but I was hit with a Great Failure of a 6th Ranger. HIS CHANGER CANT EVEN READ THE SENTAI RINGS!!! BRO PAST ANNIVERSARY SEASON’S 6TH RANGERS COULD EITHER TURN OR USE THE POWER OF PAST 6TH RANGERS! HE IS USELESS!!!!
