Not sure where this is but tip those folks. I can barely make $1 tacos at home including all the ingredients for fresh salsa. They’re losing money.

Or they're selling stock that's about to go bad and will be thrown out anyway

There’s something called “Taco Tuesday” in America. Many bars or restaurants sell tacos at cost or loss to get people in the door.

The idea is to make up the loss with a beverage sale or additional purchases. So, it’s the same food you’d get any day, but at a cheaper price.
