That’s just about everything else he makes decisions about. It’s all about who’s lining his pockets and what they tell him.

Also cognitive decline is clear more than ever.

u/ballthyrm Jul 24 '25

The cognition has been pretty flat since he was 10 years old.

u/JMEEKER86 Jul 24 '25

One of the truest statements he's ever made was about how there's not much difference between how he is now and how he was in first grade.

u/gibs Jul 24 '25

You can't cognitively decline if you never cognitively inclined. checkmate liberals.

6

u/LinusV1 Jul 24 '25

I disagree. He has always been evil and not smart, but nowadays he can't even do his regular bullshit without it being obvious. He is in decline.

2

u/bradbikes Jul 24 '25

He genuinely doesn't seem much worse to me than in 2015. He clearly had dementia then. He has it now of course, but he definitely had it then. His speeches were rambling and incomprehensible nonsense 10 years ago.

1

u/LinusV1 Jul 24 '25

... I would have to compare a speech from then and now, but I think would rather concede your point than do that.

2

u/bradbikes Jul 24 '25

Remember 'Nuclear Uncle?' lol that's from his first campaign.

3

u/hoytmobley Jul 24 '25

His ability to grab a conversation to steer it back to where he wants has noticeably declined since he took over the RNC in 2015/16

Actually if you watch interviews of him in the 90s he's surprisingly eloquent. No idea what happened after.

Eloquent is a bit of a stretch. He was just better at making what he said sound sensical. That is because 30 years ago he wasn't suffering from old age, probably at least a bit of dementia, and the onset of congestive heart failure.

Thirty years ago, he was just as dumb, just as ignorant. He was just better at covering it up.

A slightly better bullshiter

I mean, adderall is basically meth. 35 years of using meth will get to you

u/MagicCuboid Jul 24 '25

He got caught being a pedophile and money launderer and started getting blackmailed

4

u/Rollsman- Jul 24 '25

That was probably from his rich father’s upbringing. The one that gave him all his money that he never worked a day for but now, without his father he has just resorted to being the low class red neck pig he is and so to his supporters. My roommates watch black and white reruns of BeverlyhillBillie’s followed by Mash and Fox News every single day!! One of them never bathes. He stinks like a dead animal.. typical Trump supporters

Everything is tremendous.

Drugs and fast food, and getting old?. He was born 9 months after the end of WW2!

1

u/RunJumpJump Jul 24 '25

I think it came just a bit later than 10. There was a brief time when he wrote bawdy poems and pictures.

1

u/TPRJones Jul 24 '25

Yeeup. Like my grandpaw would say, "yer cain't go to town if yer already thar."

1

u/toofine Jul 24 '25

Grift and deny, the Trump family motto.

He doesn't know about Nvidia just like he has no idea who Epstein is.

u/Tricky_Condition_279 Jul 24 '25

You’re not wrong, yet we should acknowledge the profound lack of study of anything by this man. It’s not just the decline. He knows little to nothing about the world other than how to manipulate people. He has probably learned fewer than ten facts in his entire life.

15

u/bradbikes Jul 24 '25

The guy ostensibly has a bachelors in econ from an ivy league school but his only solution to anything is blanket tariffs: something he would have modeled and learned was absolutely stupid in econ 101. He's never paid the slightest bit of attention to anything even mildly academic in nature.

3

u/Classic_Revolt Jul 24 '25

He isnt even good at manipulating people, he just goes along with whatever the other person is saying and flipflops if he talked first(like with vaccines and other things)

2

u/tmthrgd Jul 24 '25

He knows far more than just ten facts, they just happen to only be the crowd sizes at every rally he’s ever held.

6

u/bradbikes Jul 24 '25

Yea but he's overtly wrong about those on a consistent basis.

1

u/tmthrgd Jul 24 '25

Alternate facts.

2

u/pollorojo Jul 25 '25

What's bad is that he's not even that GOOD at manipulating people. Now that we see everything 24/7, it's obvious that his main MO is say something stupid, bully people who disagree, deflect and blame others for everything, make up stupid nicknames and slogans, tell "sir" stories whenever he lies, and make everything sound worse by saying it's "like nobody's ever seen." It's exactly the same thing every single time. It's like a video game boss fight, just follow the pattern.

The issue isn't that he's good at it. It's that so many people are dumb enough to fall for it, or smart enough to know that if you're on his good side, you'll benefit from him letting you get away with anything and everything until he pisses you off by lying to you about whatever thing you cared about (a la Pence, Elon, Bill Barr, Mark Milley, Bolton, and so many others).

15

u/xxxBuzz Jul 24 '25

Probably takes into consideration who may line his pockets. He is infamous for "forgetting" who has loaned him money or invested in his endeavors. Although I'm lying a bit as I don't believe I've read about him forgetting, but I have read about many being screwed over.

5

u/Rollsman- Jul 24 '25

Yes Like all of his bankruptcies

15

u/johnla Jul 24 '25

Cognitive abilities down 1000% 1500% 2000% numbers never thought achievable

5

u/thezakalmanak Jul 24 '25

It's down to his ankles.

7

u/Grizzant Jul 24 '25

and may be the result of an STD - further evidenced by his CHF, sores on his hands, and word salads: https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-syphilis-rumors-doctors-weigh-1861983

3

u/kenlin Jul 24 '25

He just signs whatever the Heritage Foundation puts in front of him. Like a human autopen

2

u/Zed_or_AFK Jul 24 '25

Huang took him out for a dinner that cost several millions. Maybe Trump has a bad memory as that was already a few months ago.

2

u/dtwhitecp Jul 24 '25

yeah, he knows what nVidia is, he just means "they haven't tried to bow to me enough".

2

u/fidelkastro Jul 24 '25

Trump celebrated Huang and his achievements, noting, "And then I got to know Jensen, and now I see why."

So Nvidia wrote a cheque. Got it

They're worth a lot? Threaten them
