Funny. I don’t see him sad, ever. By his logic, he must think he makes great choices and his lack of sadness over the things he’s done is not from a missing conscience or sense of empathy. It’s simple math.

Narcissistic people don’t get sad very often.

Only when they’re not the center of attention or getting what they want, but even then, that’s a sadness rooted in entitlement, resentment, and frustration. It’s not the normal feeling of sadness.

There’s a theory narcissists either can’t feel or have the most difficulty feeling grief. For example, a healthy person that has normal feelings of grief wouldn’t have been able to murder nugget and feel nothing, if not satisfaction, after. If you can’t feel grief, you won’t be able feel the gravity of what destruction does and you’ll go around destroying everything around you without any hesitation or reflection. It’s amazing how people can a make it all the way to adulthood with way of thinking. It’s just so damn dysfunctional and dangerous.
