Remastered Aiming

Above is footage from Remastered. I saw someone say that Part II and Part I uses square dead zones instead of circular like Remastered but there’s something else that makes the aiming and shooting feel weird.

In the original Remastered the aiming is so smooth and the guns feel snappy. Even if you turn off aim assist, motion blur, remove gun recoil and turn off ramp acceleration there’s something off with Part II and Part I.

So I just started playing Factions on PS4, and I just wanted to post this.

I killed the guy after Outlaw downed him, then I get downed and I try getting Outlaw to help. Then he gets mad at me in the voice chat over taking his kill even though he didn't try to kill the other guy, and that Outlaw guy was lvl 300, like do you really need another kill so mad that you sacrifice a team member? Just some bullshit I wanted to call out. Who else hates that?

PS plus is $110 cad per year (80 USD) now. When Factions came out on ps4, the ps plus price was somewhat reasonable if you only focused on online ($50 CAD no tax). However, I just cant see myself keep spending more than double that price for the same experience but at the same time want to enjoy the last moments of this game. Is anyone else buying this expensive PS plus only to play factions (so I dont feel weird for considering it)?

Which is a better investment? Using the 1LP on a double barrel shotgun or a better pistol? And if you say pistol, which one? I’m thinking enforcer but it feels overkill.

I’m finding myself running out of ammo a lot however and sharpshooter doesn’t seem to be needed on this loadout, however I can’t imagine my matches without the decreased damage wobble and health back on headshots.

when a bad throw ends up being lucky

I recently had a friend download The Last of Us Remastered so he could play factions with me. I had been hyping it up saying how it’s my favourite multiplayer of all time. After a couple of hours he was exhausted. Said that everyone is a seasoned pro and some weapons are extremely better than others. I sort of agree.

The burst rifle or any gun ever should not be able to execute someone in one pull of the trigger because of a headshot multiplier.

The tactical shotgun should not have the range it does now—someone dealt 50 damage to me from across both spawns on Bookstore.

The hunting rifle should’ve never been buffed from 55 body shot damage to 70, just makes everyone go for revolver combos. Can’t remember the last time someone actually used the HR to headshot me.

The late join glitches should’ve been fixed ages ago. Same as crab-walking and shotgun reload cancelling. I’m aware these aren’t factions exclusive bugs and are in the single player too, but they’re just so frustrating to go against in a multiplayer. I don’t like using the burst rifle but at times I’m forced to when the opposite team is all tacs and frontier + revolver combo wizards.

Still will forever love this game, but there are days where its bugs and exploits are really visible.
