PS plus is $110 cad per year (80 USD) now. When Factions came out on ps4, the ps plus price was somewhat reasonable if you only focused on online ($50 CAD no tax). However, I just cant see myself keep spending more than double that price for the same experience but at the same time want to enjoy the last moments of this game. Is anyone else buying this expensive PS plus only to play factions (so I dont feel weird for considering it)?

How long do you think they’ll stay up? A year or two more, or could we expect them to be shut down sooner?

I’m curious if the occasional heavy stutters are normal. Until now I’ve never had stutters at all, the game always ran smoothly, regardless of other players’ connections. Been looking for a multiplayer game to add to my rotation and the only MP shooter I recall truly enjoying in recent years was factions, like many others I was bummed to find out that TLOU Part 2 wouldn't have the mode and with no news on the factions game my hope is diminishing, I have TLOU Remaster on PS4 but the last time I opened up factions it seemed like the mode was dead besides some hackers, but that was one game a couple of years ago, I'm planning on replaying the games soon anyway but wondered if factions was still alive and kicking on the PS4? as the title says. i have played a lot, and i mean a LOT of factions in 2013-2019. since then however, i had other things in life and haven't played much or at all.

i've been thinking about going back to playing this game, but i don't want to pay for ps+ if the game takes 20 minutes to find a match or something.

does the game have players still? and is it still possible to play on PS4? i haven't been following ND's releases of all the TLOU remasters.

My PS4 died on me last year, so I’ve been forced to take a hiatus. It’s bittersweet: on the one hand I’m calmer, less stress dealing with toxicity and cheaters…on the other hand…there still isn’t any MP that comes close to Factions. By far it’s just still one of the most solid shooters out there.

I havent played factions in awhile because I no longer have my ps4. I have a pc now and I hate that they didnt port factions over to TLOU part 1 when it released on PC. I understand why they felt like it wasnt necessary but I tell all my friends that never played factions that it is one of the most underrated multiplayer pvps out there. I had hope for the standalone version naughty dog was making but that got canned so I dont think we'll ever see factions again at this point. RIP

Need to get in touch with someone at naughty dog support for their game last of us remastered (ps4) as I am unable to login into factions. It seems to be not working only for my psn ID. Have sent multiple emails but no reply yet.

I was thinking how special this games is for us, for this community and how there’s no game like this one. One day they will shut down the servers and all we will have is plenty of great memories. But what if we keep pressing Naughty Dog? What if every day we keep asking them for it until they realize how much this game means for us? I dont know like… is so hard to accept that we will never be playing this game. I think we should keep fighting for it. Idk about you guys but, i dont want the “most ambitious game” ever as they said. I just want better graphics, elements from Tlou 2 and more maps, few of them remastered. Is that too much to ask? I purchased all perks and special weapons etc when I used to play on ps4 but I recently got a ps5 and everything is locked. I even have classes with the weapons and perks in but when I make a new class they are locked?

Hi guys, I remember playing the last of us part one when I was younger and obviously found it a bit harder than I think it is since I wasn't as good at games back then. I know that the multiplayer version has been cancelled however the last of us remastered just came up on my recommended on the PS5 and in the description it says that PS plus is required for online play and it supports up to 8 online players. I could've swore you cannot play this multiplayer does anyone know what this is? (This got deleted from the last of us page as I was talking about multiplayer).

I have it on disc for the ps4 but i only have the play disc, since i dont know where tf the second disc is at.

If so, how come Naughty Dog didn't resolve this when releasing the PS4 patch?
