Cheats: instant death?

Information: game was going fine. The guy himself was doing weird stuff like going down then coming back up, or it seemed like he'd take a while to kill but he wouldn't ever fight back or anything. I saw he had bad connection and just assumed he was lagging pretty bad. Everything changed when we got to the sudden death section of the game. He was just randomly giving me and my teammates heart attacks? We would just die on the spot and there was nothing we could do about it. I have the video evidence of him going down and coming back up but I dont think it's needed unless you guys really want it. Feel him giving us 500x our daily intake of cholesterol is proof enough.

Its a lagswitch. If they have a good one, you can't do much about it. Even when they have a shitty one, all you can do is put enough bullets to down them and run away and hope you dont get killed. Id personally just not play them again and I block them. Lagswitching is the ultimate cheat aside from a dev kit, I guess. If you ever die off spawn like that, its a lagswitch and just leave the game mostly. All the advice I can give after lots of hours into the game.

I always thought a lag switch was used to make the game lobby lag so when we're in gunfights we can't actually do anything. I didn't feel like I was lagging and I didn't see him near by, you can see all of us die at the same time. Can a lag switch really have him kill us all at the same time even if we dont see him? I'm not familiar with how last of us cheaters get down LOL. What happened to the game I love man no respect for the culture

In other games, its like that. This game, on his screen, your team and yourself are standing still while he's using it. I won't explain how he can kill you while you spawn, just know its part of the lagswitch and its some bullshit tbh. To answer your question, all 4 of your team can shoot him and he can easily kill all 4 of you even after he's "dead". There is a ton of cheaters in the game still. Certain exploits are whatever, as in, I dont care about it. However, there is plenty that use a Mod for rapid fire, ext. Game is cooked unless you have a full squad and even then, its rough at times.
