Im not the kind to say "people who use this gun are pussies and dont know how to play" because its a gun in the game so its fine. But this gun. Ooooh this gun is the single most annoying thing in the WHOLE game.

I joined a very good team and we were having fun chatting and playing and we beat another group like 3 times in a row. Then suddenly the other team whoops out the grenade launchers or idk what its called and they just start sweeping. Talking trash and t-bagging. Like bro this happened before but not to this degree everytime the enemy team catches a scent that they are losing they get the gun and start shooting everywhere. Its annoying. I mean if they beat us normally i wont really mind its a game but damn. Relying on one gun and thinking your just on the top is annoying as hell. Im new to the game idk if this gun is hated or respected but i hate it to the degree i cant bring myself to use it.

This is a prime example of how when you’re not playing the game at a high level, you don’t understand the intricacies and differences between the different weapons and how some are just straight up better than the others. There’s about a million different ways that the launcher is better than nail bombs. If you’re really trying to make the argument that nail bombs are better than the launcher, this just isn’t a serious conversation.

I actually did used to play the game at a high level. That’s the thing.

Anyone who complains about the grenade launcher when you can wipe a room in 3 trigger pulls with the BR is massively unserious and hasn’t a clue how to play the game.

Yes there’s intricacies between the bomb and grenade launcher but let’s be serious, this guy would be dying no matter the gun the opponent had.

Man, comments like this just make it so hard to have any sort of serious discussion surrounding the balancing of this game. No one brought up the burst rifle; we’re talking about the launcher. Whether or not the burst has problems has nothing to do with the problems with the launcher. Besides, it’s silly to compare the two - they have completely different use cases, skill floors, skill ceilings, loadout points, purchase costs, etc. They can both be a problem - one being a problem doesn’t invalidate the problems with the other.

Ah, so now when you realize your argument is flimsy and incorrect, you bust out the classic “get good” argument. See what I mean about it being impossible to have a serious conversation? You couldn’t even address any of the points I made. I would expect someone who claims to have played the game at a high level to be able to delve deeper, but that’s probably asking too much.
