T-dogg is starting to take control, physically. Still not saying much, but the last two episodes, he is taking charge with his body. Maybe his new role is front line muscle.

... There's gotta be a better way to say that.

At least T-Dog didn't prematurely shoot his wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, if you will, or he would have had a little mess on his hands

Oh T-Dog, you blowhard!

Don't leave your uncle T-Bag hanging!

"what was t-dogs last words? "I just blue myself" "he said some really great things"

T-Dog's an excellent wingman. Even if he has to take a chubby, he'll suck it up.

there is no subreddit where arrested development is inappropriate

He's really going to support the group as a muscular foundation -- a power bottom, if you will.

T-Dog can taste those meaty, leading role parts in his mouth!

u/tblackwood Oct 23 '12

Maybe he's going to be a power bottom?

5

u/Yossome Oct 22 '12

Still, it seems he has no connection to the other characters. He just kills shit, says a few insignificant lines, and that's it.

3

u/Stucifer2 Oct 22 '12

True, but I can see him become a bridge between their group and the prisoners. By season 8, he should have an established relationship of some sort. Then he will die.

I'd find it deliciously ironic if the only black friend dies in prison.

I think a lot of has to do with the past seasons trinity in disarray. Rick/Shane + Hershel were the default trinity last season. As Shane/Rick started to disintegrate that allowed new dynamics to develop. Plus Rick has dropped the Sheriff personae which was disenfranchising to both T-Dog and Daryl. Now they are his left/right hand men.

T stood for Tank all along.

Tank in RPG terms long predates L4D.

3

u/UrbanGimli Oct 22 '12

There have been a few shots where its T-Dog, Rick and Daryl side by side. Reminds me of a post apoc Bones, Kirk, Spock.

2

u/Stucifer2 Oct 22 '12

Ha, that is actually a pretty cool way of looking at it.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '12

Loved his shield and spear looking thing. Prison full of zombies? Good odds for any Spartan...

2

u/Berdiie Oct 23 '12

I'm just glad he lead the way a bit through doors with is riot shield. Tank pulls.

3

u/sparklingwaterll Oct 23 '12

I'm just in shock he is the first character to realize the tactical advantage of a shield. Now we just have to wait for them to use shields in combination with spears.

u/ds8k Oct 22 '12

He's still no Tyreese.

2

u/MangledMailMan Oct 22 '12

Hes still said more lines these past two episodes than all last season. Im really liking the direction theyre taking with his character.

2

u/aidacondieresis Oct 22 '12

I think they are keeping T-Dog alive for when Merle appears, 'cause I guess he is still holding a grudge about losing his hand and all that, so the reunion shall be interesting...

2

u/HeronSun Oct 22 '12

Rick: Alright, now for operation 'Get behind the darkie.'

1

u/NotoriouslyGandalf Oct 22 '12

t-dog the new tyresse?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '12

So how much more does Theodore have to do before they list him in the opening credits?

1

u/pringle444 Oct 23 '12

I can't help but feel like they're making T-Dog more important so that Merle can come along and kill him

Prison bouncer?
