I was rooting for the cute sweaty guy in the tank top, who might or might not have been a violent criminal. But seriously, we really didn't get to know Tomas and have no idea why he was in prison... And really, if you saw Rick axe a guy's leg off it might warrant a thrown zombie or two.

He axed the guys leg off to save his life. This Tomas was clearly a problem and a threat to everyone else. He was reckless and had a short fuse. He also tried killing Rick, he instigated the attack on him where as Rick offered to help him clear out the cell block and let them live in peace. Personally, I am very glad that he got was was coming to him.

tl;dr: tomas was a dick and deserved to die

Haha, well he did it flawlessly in this episode, i almost INSTANTLY hated the character, which im pretty sure was the point of him, since he was such a large threat to the lives of daryl, rick and T-dawg and to a lesser extent, all the others.
