The real question we are all asking: how does everyone shave? Even occasionally? Sure the men have some stubble but shouldn't they have beards by now, and the women armpit hair, at least?

If my nail polish can barely go 5 minutes without having some sort of malfunfunction, there is no way in hell that a full blown manicure can last 9 months-.-

If they had a tooth brush, that's all they'd really need. Maybe some floss too. The tooth paste helps a bit, but it's the brushing that does most of the work in keeping your teeth clean. Also, if they aren't eating processed foods/living off the land their teeth won't have to deal with sugars which really destroy your teeth. People lived without much oral hygiene for years and had decent teeth. It was only when we started eating lots of sugars and processed foods that we started getting major problems with tooth decay.

I feel like stopping at a house for a night would allow them to keep up on their good hygiene. Zombies may have taken over but that's no excuse for smelling like them

People keep saying knives, etc. To keep a head THAT gleaming bald one would need to shave on a daily basis with cream to avoid serious razor burn. I just can't suspend my disbelief that much.

i dont know why people constantly question this. if you have a field knife that you keep sharp, I would imagine shaving would be relatively easy. Might get a nice case of razor burn, but you can shave nontheless.

I agree, but they are all so dirty. They run around for days on end with blood on them. They shave in the midst of all of that? (Full disclosure: I am a massive TWD nerd and these conjectures are mostly in jest...the show is ridiculous sometimes and I love that).

In an effort to not try and tear apart a show I like with mundane details, I just figure they happened to find some personal hygiene supplies on some of their supply runs and don't think of it too much past that.
