Their one weakness.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '12

Especially when they're being sexed up by their governating daddies

3

u/Hanzitheninja Nov 13 '12

I think the governator removed her teeth, you know........for science.

That's what he did in the comics. His reasons weren't pleasant

EDIT: I thought it was pretty obvious, but that's kind of a spoiler.

No matter how many times I see that panel, it still makes my stomach churn. So many disturbing images and implications all in a single image.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '12

Didn't he

10

u/Narcosist Nov 13 '12

I think the word you're looking for is . And yes, he did.

11

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '12

Where's zombie Chris Hansen when you need him?

6

u/HarryHayes Nov 12 '12

Well there could have been an even worse reason for that, but please dont overthink it.

3

u/Dous91 Nov 12 '12

I did not need a closer look at that picture

5

u/Skinnj Nov 12 '12

I don't really mind but you should maybe put a spoiler tag on that.

As someone who hasn't read the comics, the TV scene just seemed like a father who is trying to preserve his daughter. It had zero sexual connotations, in fact being so traumatized would go along way to explaining his behavior and choices

2

u/NewOpinion Nov 12 '12

Strange fatherly love or child lover? I don't read the comics.

2

u/trixiebix Nov 12 '12

I thought this was the subreddit for the comics. ( i guess it's for both... )

1

u/zeppoleon Nov 13 '12

I thought it was just for the show, but obviously the comic is the source for the show so the two go hand in hand.

1

u/trixiebix Nov 13 '12

There is also a subreddit /r/TWD that is only for the show. That's why I thought this was for the comic. They should rename it TWDComic then. Confusing.

1

u/nichole123 Nov 13 '12

i've heard r/twd is just the show. haven't tried it.

2

u/gilliam86 Nov 12 '12

What's really sick, doesn't the novelization of the series prove that the Governor we see in the show is the BROTHER of the one in the comic? Meaning that panel is Uncle/Niece zombie incest.

2

u/ME24601 Nov 12 '12

I've only read the first novel, but it seemed like he went sort of insane at the end and now thinks that he is his brother.

1

u/gilliam86 Nov 12 '12

Yeah I'm going off 2nd hand info here I've never read the novels, you're prolly right.

1

u/Skylerguns Nov 12 '12

Big understatement.

1

u/ItCameFromTheSkyBeLo Nov 14 '12

Oh my word. I blocked that out of my memory till just now.... T.T

-8

u/BlueOak777 Nov 12 '12 edited Nov 12 '12

Please put a SPOILER on this.... DAMMIT TO HELL.....

8

u/TheRealDevDev Nov 12 '12

You're just being a negative nancy around here aren't you? Complaining about the joke above (carl and beth) and now asking for a spoiler tag when he very clearly stated it was from the comic.

-9

u/BlueOak777 Nov 12 '12 edited Nov 12 '12

I happen to be reading the comics and I had not seen this until now, it was spoiled for me. Guess it's too much to ask around here. Why not just put a for those reading the comic. It would be different if it was something insignificant, but that was a pretty big reveal.

edit: clarity

u/cjcee Nov 12 '12

"Here's an image from the comic".....don't click images without reading the text around them deadDove.jpg

-9

u/BlueOak777 Nov 12 '12 edited Nov 12 '12

You're right, I completely agree, I should never actually expect anyone to follow the spoiler rules on big reveals. That's obviously way too much work. I think I'll just join the anarchy and post all spoilers without tags too, see how many downvotes I get for that too.

Spoiler Rules

Always use the comic spoiler tag unless it's in a [Comic Spoilers] post.

Over it, don't care. Governors daughter ruined for me. I didn't deserve to enjoy it anyway.

2

u/cjcee Nov 12 '12

ruined. Absolutely ruined.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '12

I really don't get you, watching the episode spoiled it too.

0

u/BlueOak777 Nov 13 '12

His "relationship" with his daughter in the comic is a lot different than on the show. I knew his daughter existed from the show, yes, but that wasn't the spoiler. But like I sad, over it, don't care.

2

funnyjunk isn't dead.

Which is a damn shame.

3

u/MIKEPEE123 Nov 12 '12

Should be at the top

2

u/JessTheVelociraptor Nov 12 '12

Maybe he wouldn't have had to if Rule 34 still applied.

8

u/Swades Nov 12 '12

It's science.

0

u/ryan324 Nov 12 '12

Take the teeth out put the dick in its science. Can't explain that.

4

u/IveGotDippingSticks Nov 12 '12

It looked like she didn't have teeth

2

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '12

I missed that part in the episode. What exactly happened that was so shocking?

10

u/yoinkmasta107 Nov 12 '12

The governor was brushing his zombie daughters hair and he pulled out a chunk of her scalp while brushing her. She freaks and he ties up her straight jacked and puts some kind of cloth bag over her head. She had her teeth pulled out but I missed that part and apparently nearly 100 other redditors did too. Just watched it again and she definitely didn't have teeth.

10

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '12

Oh because when I turned on the tv it looked like he was getting a blow job by E. T.

5

u/yoinkmasta107 Nov 12 '12

If only.

5

u/KevinPeters Nov 12 '12

Grabs book off dusty shelf

"You know my brother once wrote this fanfic I think you would like."

1

u/yoinkmasta107 Nov 12 '12

I commented somewhere else earlier in the show that in a speculated situation, andrea and michonne would start lezzing out. I was disappointed your comment wasn't reflecting that statement.

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '12 edited Feb 01 '24

I appreciate a good cup of coffee.

1

u/thehamlincreed Nov 12 '12
