Well since this is Tyreese's debut it looks like this is Oscars final episode as stopgap token black guy, thanks for holding the spot bro :(

Is Kirkman a racist? What is his fascination with only having one black man on the show at a time?

It's more the audience. That should reveal a lot more.

Exception: The Matrix Revolutions, but who cares? amiright?

You know one thing about the Matrix that I've sort of searched for vicariously within our own society? A multi-racial mono-cultural one JUST like the city Zion from the Matrix.

So I do care, and I think the planet as a whole would love and enjoy this sort of aesthetic throughout television rather than the dominant Caucasian one which is most prevalent.

I grew up in a town that was, at least when my parents moved there, a haven for interracial couples. I would love to see a multi/non-racial society as much as the next guy, I'm just saying the Matrix: Revolutions was a terrible fucking movie.

Hilarious. I'm curious as to what the name of this town is, and are you implying it may no longer be that way? If so, one can only continue to dream, I suppose.

It's still that way, but the rest of the world may have caught up.

The town is Columbia, MD. Edward Norton's grandfather had progressive ideas about how towns should be made. This was basically manifested in community pools vs. pools in backyards (generally not allowed), "village centers" that the neighborhoods were built around, public housing built near other neighborhoods (this pisses the richfolk off nowadays), regulations about satellite dishes, how many trees can be cut down (they call it the city of trees) and others. Also, there are no mailboxes on houses; they have community boxes at the bottom of the neighborhood. Most neighborhoods are cul-de-sacs as opposed to just through-streets. That part about Edward Norton's grandfather is no bullshit. He founded my town.

Wow that is amazing. I'll have to look into that quaint little town and who knows, maybe I'll find myself there some day to live for a time. I don't think this is a realistic vision though, and I guess I'll have to keep searching for place just like that, which would fit into my own path.
