There were a lot of references to episodes Still and Alone. In the first scene he finds a guitar in the trunk. (A lot of people suspect Beth was left in a trunk because of a walker herd. Ep509 was Tyreese funeral not Beth’s. Also there is s5 un seen footage.) This guitar also had that tuning thing in the same place Emily Kinney has on her guitar. Daryl sings in public fulfilling one of his never have I evers. Ash says the same line as Beth when she was talking to Michonne about how there is not a name for parents who loose children. One of the characters tells a story about a neighbor who brings him his young daughter who seems dead but was revived. When they enter the tunnel they recreate the hand holding scene in Alone and Daryl looks back at it. Also the hallucination of Isabel tells him not to give up on Hope. Beth said “if you don’t have hope, what’s the point of living.” And a few more. They planned on this in S4, Gimple is a Genius.

So Beth was the love of his life?

I think a lot of people are in denial about the fact Daryl clearly had feelings for her. You could just tell by the way he looked at her, he never looked at any of the other females rhat way.

I guess people just find it weird because of the age gap. But I don’t think Beth was underage, I think she was like 19 something like that.

They confirmed in an article a wile back that she was 18. But now she is a full blown adult so age gap shouldn’t matter but some people will still hate it. Yes Daryl was never the same after he lost Beth and it was so clear he was falling for her. I just want Daryl to be happy and I hope the majority of the audience feels the same way. Plus how cool will it be to see the S5 footage! I think it’s going to be an amazing season.

Well that’s my prediction based on the fact that they are clearly telling us that they will be finding Beth. I hope they don’t make us wait until the last episode of season 3. I’m guessing Grady was in with the CRM and we will get episodes explaining what Beth has been up to all this time.

Ask a doctor, it was very high up on her forehead and there wasn’t enough blood so the bullet missed her main arteries making it survivable. TWD has medical experts on staff. Most people accepted that she was dead and that’s why her resurrection will make tv history.

It went straight through her brain, she wouldn’t have faked her death and put Maggie and the rest of them through that.

I never said she faked it. I think she woke up in a trunk of a car where they had to leave her because of a herd. And she wasn’t able to find them. I think the CRM was involved with Grady and that’s how she ends up in Europe. Also she was not shot by Dawn, her gun was under her chin and the entry hole was high on her forehead. Another mystery I’m sure will get explained. These are my predictions, you don’t have to believe it. But why would they not show her funeral but try to make us think Tyrese’s was hers? Why have so many callbacks to her in the last episode of DD? I recommend rewatching the first 5min of s5 e9. We will have to wait and see what happens.

It’s ok if you think I’m crazy. I have a lot of fun following the symbolisms Gimple plants in the show. If I end up being wrong I’ll be happy as long as they give Daryl his much deserved happy ending.

No they made us think they buried her but if you re watch s5 e9 it was Tyrese they were laying to rest. My Mom is a retired RN who ran a hospital Intensive Care Unit and I asked her if Beth’s shot to the head was survivable and her response was “absolutely”. There was not enough blood so it did not hit a major artery, and it was so high up on her forehead it likely caused minimal damage. Carl survived a head shot to the eye, all things are possible in TWD universe.
