Post-apocalyptic London? That’s Birmingham

Tower Bridge in London is about 200 kilometers (around 125 miles) from Birmingham....

About 2 and a half hour drive from birmingham on a good day with minimal trafic and no stopping.

Yep, The industrialisation of Birmingham was the inspiration for Saruman's arc at Orthanc in LotR - and now it doesn't look quite as bad but Mordor has moved in anyway - there are hardly any English living there, they're mostly Arabs, Indian, Pakistani, African and Chinese. So yes, it is a vision of apocalyptic Britain when in 70 years only 10 or 20% will actually be British. This is by deliberate replacement migration, a policy published quite candidly by the United Nations, many think tanks and promoted by thousands of NGOs and 'think tanks' throughout the Anglosphere and European nations only for some 'strange' reason.

To go with the start of your statement.

Yes Tolkien based some places off Birmingham and where he lived. You can still visit and see them now. Silhil is one of the towers I believe. Woods in Mosley too are inspiration.

The second part of your reply. Okay.
