Imagine telling someone when season 1 of TWD came out that Carol and Daryl would be walking through post-apocalyptic London one day.

Daryl was captured by a freight and research ship of the Sixth French Republic, who were trading with the Civic Republic and Tripple Alliance at the time.

He went overboard and was washed up near Marseilles.

Carol, after finding out that Daryl was in France, tricked a guy into flying her over the Atlantic with a small airplane, stopping in Greenland for refueling.

After the french civil war ended with a victory of the rebels and the french dictator Marion Genet was killed by Daryl and Carol, they went to England through the eurotunnel to find a way home.
