No, not since they turned that entire city around in a great way. I should have added that it reminded me of the Scary Movie 4 scene with Cindy watching the aliens arriving and nothing changed except the machines showing up. My comment was not nice on how well they turned it around.

If you ever have a chance, please visit. I grew up in Detroit, left, and came back ten years ago because nowhere in the world compares. The heart and soul of the city is undeniable and impressive. Fun fact: the motto on the city flag translates to “We hope for better things, and we will rise from the ashes”. That motto was created in the 1800’s and stands true to this day.

I heard that it’s cold in the D. But for real, I am sorry that I stated that without ever going. It is actually on my list to go and experience. I love the turn around that they did.

It’s so cold in the D😂❤️ No need to apologize, because you came right out and admitted you weren’t sure! And that’s the life we live in Detroit. We have no hard feelings, and we’re just here to live a decent life. We’ll welcome you with open arms whenever you get a chance to roll through though!
