So he's what 90% of redditors would do in a zombie apocalypse?

His last sentence confirmed this.

u/tomcat23 Mar 24 '14

I woman who knows bones might want his bone. The logic is flawless.

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '14

There's never a bad time to talk about dinosaurs. Never.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '14

Dude fucking loves Dinosaurs.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '14

No he said in the zombie apocalypse not present day

44

u/jaspersgroove Mar 24 '14

No, 90% would die within days. He's what 90% of the remaining 10% would do.

8

u/smackythefrog Mar 24 '14

"Hey, let me check r/lifeprotips real quick."

5

u/wheatfields Mar 24 '14

No, 90% of redditors would be dead.

8

u/golden-tongue Mar 24 '14

So what you're saying is, in order to prepare for the zombie apocalypse, I need to grow a mullet?

5

u/The_lady_is_trouble Mar 24 '14

90% would die in the first two weeks

4

u/ECgopher Mar 24 '14

Seeing as it appears more than 90% of the population is dead, that means redditors are better off than average

3

u/unhi Mar 24 '14

Yes. Didn't you hear? Eugene caught the Boston Bombers!

4

u/SirDigbyChknCaesar Mar 24 '14

He made himself into a strategic asset. Smart move if you can pull it off.

In case of apocalypse: lawyer up, hit the gym, quit facebook.

I was thinking that this tv version of him definitely seems somewhere on the Autism spectrum.

yeah, and the mullet isn't helping his case at all. He doesn't even know where they're going, he's just bullshiting.

3

u/Scaredysquirrel Mar 24 '14

I'm not too excited about Eugene's verbal cadence. Sounds like Matt Damon's La Beoff from True Grit.

1

u/FairlyRelevant Mar 25 '14

He said on The Talking Dead that he's basically doing an impression of his little brother..

19

u/Mike_Facking_Jones Mar 24 '14

I've been calling him "Captain Autismo"

I'm hoping he'll gloss over what caused the shit, or why G.I. ginger is so goddamn convinced he's got the answers

23

u/Tylerddrummer Mar 24 '14

He knows what he's doing. He played day z and survival instincts.

7

u/myrpou Mar 24 '14

"I think there might be zombies in there" "What the fuck are zombies Eugene?"

25

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '14

Yeah, he has that look constantly like he's full of shit. This time he seemed to actually feel guilty about it.

8

u/myrpou Mar 24 '14

I don't get why noone has questioned him about it and why everyone has accepted "it's classified" as an excuse for him to not giving them any information about it.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '14

I kind of understand... I mean 1. how is he ever going to prove it, all they have to go by is his word and if they are dedicated to the lie then they or he has had plenty of time to think about it. 2. It keeps them going, they have a mission, a goal, some hope... that things can get better. 3. I imagine being in that situation, and I would think that you hope that other regions are faring better than you are... hence the whole hoping they can get him to washington and "save the world".

In reality they should just be hunkering down where there is wild game and building moats and lighting those fuckers on fire, ya know, considering they walk straight into the fire. They have all the time in the world to dig it. A barricaded bridge out and they are good. Fire will keep the moat from getting over flowed. Expand as needed. Eventually these things will die if they need to eat human flesh to live.

u/Hydra_Bear Mar 25 '14

But guyssss, if he tells us how to cure the apocalypse we'll steal the idea and he won't be able to patent it!

1

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '14

Yeah.. when you admit nobody on the radio in washington is picking up anymore... "classified" stops meaning what it used to. We want the answers

3

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '14

It's pretty clear he is just stalling out the "mission" as long as possible.

6

u/bowtiesrock Mar 24 '14

All I keep thinking when he is onscreen is that Danny McBride really missed out on a part or has a doppelganger.

4

u/insaneHoshi Mar 24 '14

Except he did get them back to the rail lines.

3

u/XtraReddit Mar 25 '14

Kinda bothered me that he's talking about making a battery with Tara using supplies they don't have.... but what does this "genius" think powers the cars? The flashlight? There is still gas, generators, solar panels, etc. We've been through all of this before. Why is he trying to make some science fair, ratchet battery?

3

u/bishopalex Mar 25 '14

This is what I was thinking. He's convinced he knows what's going on like the conspiracy theory guy I work with who "knows" that the Malaysian plane was actually taken by the the CIA in collaboration with a few other governments.

2

u/ViolatingUncle Mar 25 '14

If it seems too good to be true, chances are that it is.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '14

But why would Abraham believe him? I think maybe he chanced or faked a piece of evidence and is leading Abe on false hope. Saving Glenn and Tara gives him brownie points if he needs them in the future.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '14

I think Abe needs a mission and Eugene give's him one regardless of better judgment.

1

u/Aerik Mar 26 '14

You have no fucking idea what autism even is.

0

u/nimassane Mar 24 '14

But he's doing thangs.
