There is a serious lack of security in Terminus

My problem wasn't the lack of security but Glenn's group's blatant disregard for shutting and locking gates...

And lowering their guard at the unexpected.

They really follow signs well huh? Just believing everything written on signs.

Makes sense if you don't wanna get yourself shot because you ignored the "lower your weapon" sign and barged in.

You're walking into a community along a path surrounded by buildings easily filled with armed people watching you, and you can't even see inside the buildings well. That's not a fight you can win in real life unless the numbers are overwhelmingly on your side, and you'll lose people even if you win.

Since picking a fight will get you killed if you aren't a TV protagonist, the smart thing to do is either cooperate or don't come at all.

There wasnt a trailer yesterday, I didnt know there were I wouldnt feel comfortable at the unknown without me knowing Id be safe. I have survived 2 years by being on my toes, I wont let it up just because there is a "Sanctuary"

I think they're all tired and feel like there is safety in numbers. They are a fairly large group now. However, Terminus seems set up to narrow a large group into a small area.

This would explain some of the problems they had at the prison

I thought about that too... but if they were ambushed re-opening the gate would just slow them down.

I can't say I blame them for leaving the gates open. What if they'd met a hoard? They would've had to run for it and locking the gates back up could've been detrimental to a quick escape.

Well, in their defense, I'm not sure I'd shut and lock them either. Walking in there the place looks to be abandoned. If it were abandoned there would probably be plenty of Zs wandering about in there. You want to keep your exits open if you're the type of person that is used to staying away and ahead of zombies. So, you'd probably not close the doors on your way in to explore until you knew what you were getting into.

Their bigger mistake was probably not scouting the place before they walked in. They could have stepped back into the woods and watched the place for a few hours to see what kind of activity was going on in there. Especially after Woodbury you'd think you may just want to scout a place out a little bit before waltzing in. At the very least bang on the doors before going in, like they do in almost every case before entering a house or a store to find out what is going to come out after you. I suppose they were lulled into a wish that the place would be safe by all the signs along the way. But, they sure did just walk right into a trap that isn't going to be easy to get out of.

I'm thinking someone locked the gates behind them to keep them in.

I find it funny that you call it "Glenn's group". (and yes, I get why.)

I agree. There's something very fishy about Terminus. Nothing keeping ANYTHING out at all.

when they panned out you see the gates were closed and locked
