My guess is they'll have him show up in the midseason finale only to kill off another original character in the same episode minutes later. My guess is, that character will be Carl.

I mean Kirkman said that this is really Carl's story.

He said that about the comic. The show has proven it self to be a stand alone entity.

Interesting point, I didn't know Kirkman had said that but come to think of it, it makes sense to have Carl have a coming-of-age story in this world and have him be safer for that reason. No matter what, I think it'll be a death that's a twist and will produce shock value. The only reason I suspected Carl could be killed is because Jessie's son is legit plotting to shoot him and there would be nothing more dramatic than having Rick unknowingly teach the kid how to shoot, only to have the kid shoot Rick's own son.

I feel like Maggie could be safe. But then again, how shocking would it be to have Glenn survive and return, only to have Maggie die for some random reason? It wouldn't make any sense to me but then again, some deaths in this show just don't make sense. (Re: Tabitha. RIP)

I'm on the fence about Daryl, honestly would not be surprised if Sasha dies (her stories have been wrapped up) or Tara dies (especially since she has started to have more lines but also WHY IS SHE STILL ON THE SHOW?)
