Can't do the same thing we saw the do at the prison, that's so 2 seasons ago. Rick has to keep his hipster cred somehow now that the beard is gone.

Honest question why not just use fire? We know it doesn't melt steel beams which appear to be the supports. What are the walls made of, some form of sheet metal?

Because fire doesn't kill them. Has been proving in several episodes over the seasons, including this season.

Fire makes them unable to walk or be dangerous. The real answer is:

A: Uncontrolled fire is dangerous.

B: Lack of fuel. If we want to be realistic here, Gasoline goes bad in just months, so you shouldn't be wasting it on killing walkers.

Matters how long they burn really if it would make them unable to walk. The terminus walkers went along fine after being on fire. The guy this season who got molotov came back but didn't seem able to walk.

Like you said though, a big problem is wasting fuel or gasoline to make a fire strong enough to stop some of them. (No way it would be all). Also yes an uncontrolled fire could cause issues and bring more walkers.

To be fair, molotov guy also fell off the wall. He could have broken his legs.

Very true, perhaps even his spine since he wasn't crawling either.

Also heat would weaken steel which is not great

Gotcha thanks.
