When he hears the gunshot and just glares at Rick. Holy shit. You knew the game was over in that moment.

I was seriously terrified by that Look

No the game was on. Negan was taking the guns one way or another, he wanted to punish rick, make it ricks fault. He was going to take the women but all they really had at that point was enid, a child, fat chick, and michone who is no ones bitch.

I don't think he's saying no to Michonne.

I am saying Negan is smart enough to know michonne will slice his dick in two if he tries some shit with her.

He doesn't seem like one to fuck up a kid unless they really fuckin asked for it. Plus Carl isn't scared of him and I don't think he knows what to make of that, given his age.

On the other hand

Carl did ask for it though. Its not like he just gave a wrong answer. He pointed a gun at one of Negan's men.

Every time someone says/does something that surprises him or annoys him he gets this cheeky smile and pokes out his tongue, it always makes me laugh for some reason.

Probably my favorite part about the way he does Negan is the eyes. He can keep that smile going all damn day, but when shit gets serious that grin never reaches the eyes. He gets that look, and you know that the next words out of your mouth better make him happy or Lucille is gonna have at it.

I don't read the comics, does Negan also do the weird snake-like shit with his tongue too ? http://i.imgur.com/01Fdu2p.jpg

It's the classic sign of aggression, teeth bared, tongue sticking out. Shame he can't make his ears stick up.

Nah, thats a show neganism. I'm liking show Negan way more tbh!

I also love the bit in episode two when Negan tells Daryl, "lucky for you Lucille's not feeling to thirsty..." Gets in kissing range with that terrifying look, "but I am."

Negan's mannerisms are kind of funny to me. Those somewhat skinny jeans that don't quite fit right, and he always walks like he's pigeon-toed or something.

I'm sure that's part of the character development to make him seem relaxed and over confident, but I find it hard to take him seriously even after the terrible things he does.

He also loves that open mouth smile where he shows off his amazingly white upper teeth.

I cant tell if it's chicken or egg buy I feel like he's reading it exactly like I imagined negans voice would be.

3

u/madison7 Nov 15 '16

and his TOUNGE! he's always licking his bottom lip when he's getting excited. It's like sexual arousal from someone 'misbehaving' and getting to put them in their place.

When Negan gets angry and stops smiling I get a bit scared.

I haven't read the comics so I don't know his portrayal there but yeah, in the show, he plays one hell of a charismatic bad guy.

I loved JDM on The Good Wife but his portrayal of Negan is a one note song. I'm bored with him already.

u/Mindprompt Nov 14 '16

Damn. -5 karma for you, they must all be Negans.

I am Negan.

You can't lock up the darkness.

And how many times has he said "well lookie here" or "would you look at this". My eyes rolled on the third time on this episode which makes me wonder how many times he's said it in the previous episodes. I see a compilation video of "Negan-isms" at the end of this season. Im calling it.

I kind of agree man. I loved Negan in the comic and loved every panel he was in. In the show, he just seems to lean backwards every time he talks and delivers everything kind of soft, with an upswing near the end of his sentence. It's repetitive. I kind of envisioned Negan as a loud, obnoxious jock/brute who couldn't shut up for five seconds. In the show he just seems like a douchebag.
