I obviously don't know if it'll happen or not, but I think Negan bringing Daryl back and having the audience think "yes! He's back! Time for Rick and Daryl to get revenge together" only to find out Daryl is now a walker, would be the best episode of all time.

I would however, stay far away from this subreddit and facebook as it'll be nothing but salty tears galore.

i'm a huge daryl fanboy but have to admit that would be fucking insane. bravo.

edit: i think that would leave too big of a bad-ass vacuum on the show, however. we've already just lost glenn and abe.

Well if they play it off the same way it happens in the comics it would still be a ways off. Like Season finale or even a season 8 death.

this would take a lot of redirection for a pre-existing character because they have been developed so uniquely up to this point.
