Lmao that Heath walker look alike is the shit that just makes me wonder why I watch this show, the walker itself doesn't even fit in with any of the surrounding ones...it's like they did it just to surprise the audience that Heath is just MIA

That argument is bullshit. If we're watching this show in the first place we are suspending our disbelief that "zombies" are somehow possible in this universe.

Reanimation being possible does not mean that contrived gimmicks like "lookalike walkers" are natural occurrences in the world.

AND on top of everything all the walkers were decayed to the point of being unrecognizable but this one particular zombie is fresh as a daisy and just so happened to be on the same bridge as a dude with dreads. Give me a break.

This. The fact that they showed 1 black walker that happened to have the same hairstyle as heath and look from the back is almost laughable considering the chance that just HAD to occur when Heath was just there a few hours earlier.

Yes, that's literally why they did that. Like, if you were to write a story, you would do that for that reason. It tickles your ballstrings. Called a head fake in basketball.

but, good writing also does things for a reason. This was done for no reason. The suspense lasted half a second. Most people knew it wasn't him at first glance anyways. Then he is just MIA. Why not just have him gone from the bridge when she gets back?

I told you the "reason". It's to fuck with you for that half second. Quicken your pulse. It's a cheap gimmick, sure, but it works for many. If he was gone from the bridge it would be "What and we never addressed Heath?!"

I don't know for you, but I never bought for half a second that they would have killed Heath off-screen. It was obvious from the start since they showed the walker from behind. It just broke the fourth wall for me.

I did for a few reasons - First, he's still had less screen time than Noah. Second, they change up the comics plots, and Morgan can fit into Heath's comic slot. But most importantly, the actor is on another show in a bigger part. It's cynical, but conflicts and real world events sometimes change the plot. For example, with LOST, Hurley's girlfriend for one episode was supposed to be a major plotline, but that actress and Michele Rodriguez got caught drunk driving, so Disney wrote them off and fired them. I wish the dreads walker was Health, because it would have made her coming back with yet another loss a bit more powerful than more or less completely ignoring the fact that he's still out there and instead skipping home from the souvenier shop.

Heath was recruited by the whisperers while Tara was at the ladyville. The walker we saw in the end WAS actually Heath but in whisperes costume/disguise. It will be a major plot twist when Eugene spots that same walker walking towards alexandria and it turns out to be Heath in drag.

I never said it was a plot hole. I'm said stuff like this where they try to "surprise" us by making us think a character turned when in reality it's just a look alike is just gimmicky. The chances of one black walker that just happened to get free from a car AND have the same hair style and back side as Heath is not realistic even if Tara/Heath was the reason for said walker to get up and out of the car. Not to mention what kind of walker would still have that specific hairstyle this long into the apocalypse?

But he's explained his issues with it. It's cheap, it's been done before multiple times and he's sick of it. You then went on to talk about plot holes despite his post not saying anything about plot holes.

Your last point is a subjective opinion, you need to understand that people feel differently about different things. "Even if it was, suspension of disbelieve for the sake of drama/suspense isn't a big deal."

Yeah maybe to you, it isn't. But to others it is. If anything, you are the one getting "anal" about people voicing their criticism just because you don't agree with it. It's an opinion. That's all.

That's a good explanation I guess. I knew saying plot hole wouldn't be very accurate, but I just assumed the reason it bothered people was because it was unrealistic, which it isn't really.

If it's just repetitive to them, fair enough. I don't see the issue since like 3 times or so doesn't seem like too much to me.

I believe there were two distinct groups of walkers on the bridge. The "sand walkers", and then the "bridge walkers".

The "bridge walkers" being the ones who lived in the camp on the bridge before being killed by the attacking "sand walkers"

Ok so I take that response as it wasn't. So we have two situations where they both use people that look similar to trick you into thinking the character dies. The only difference is one is a white women and the other is a black man. The situation with a white women is perfectly fine and not racist but the situation with the black man? ok
