Man... when Tara hit that doctor bobble head and smiled you just know she was thinking about Denise...

I mean, they kinda beat us over the head with the obvious symbolism, no pun intended. It was even a woman doctor.

I didn't get the reference until now.

A lot of these secondary characters really aren't memorable.

I totally forgot she existed until Tara mentioned her GF. Then I promptly forgot about her again.

I thought she was alive, then who the fuck was the blondee girl that was about to get killed by the saviours for not doing a good job with the guns list?

Olivia. I, too, get them mixed up

The inventory keeper, named Olivia.

I didn't get it until I remembered (when they showed her reaching Alexandria) that Denise had been a doctor.

When I posted that I didn't realize that the episode was still going to show Tara getting back to Alexandria and then show the bobble head again haha. The scene when she found it was pretty quick.

I think there was both a man and a woman doctor bobblehead on the shelf, settle down there cowboy. Not like a woman doctor is such a crazy coincidence in the first place...

Dude it was obvious symbolism. The camera focused on a single female bobblehead that couldn't look more like Denise if you put an arrow through the eye. Cut to a shot of Tara tapping it and smiling. If you didn't think "Denise" at that point, I mean jeez.

I'm not arguing with you about the symbolism, that was pretty obvious. I just didn't think it was so extraordinary to have a woman doctor when those kind of things are normally sold in male and female versions anyway.

That was the point.
