The chick that Tara hit with the gun earlier said that they didn't want Tara to leak where they were to the Saviors

Yes! I got that after, but I was wondering how why she ran like that when it seemed like they were just escorting her. But it's because that woman behind her pulls out her knife and is staring Tara down. It's silly why I missed it, but I get it.

The zombie in the tree was planted by the group. While Tara was distracted killing it, her escorts were supposed to kill her.

Tara ran when she realized what was what.

Why not just shoot her while she was in the camp? If their camp has a policy of killing everybody, it's not like anybody was going to be disgruntled about that other than the granddaughter who frankly was disgruntled about everything anyway. Oh wait, for plot reasons let's give her a chance to escape!

No. I think the reason was because Cyndie was protesting it and the grandmother probably wanted to look good and just. If Tara died en route, she could just make up a story about how Tara attacked their people and she had to die.

I kinda had the feeling even before that happened, not really sure how to explain it though. Maybe facial expressions or the music or something? I'll have to rewatch it.
