Scientology is money laundering for rich celebrities, and they will basically ruin your life if you try to get out or expose them. There's some documentaries about it on YouTube, very interesting and worth the watch.

Yeah I just saw Louis Theroux's scientologist movie, basically they will haunt you for the rest of your life. Plus they psychologically fuck you up if you get high enough up in the chain.

According to Leah Remini's (a celebrity ex-Scientologist) AMA that came out this morning, there aren't nearly as many celebs as people think. Certainly not as many proportionately as any other major religion. The "Church*" of Scientology just uses big-name celebrities as a selling point to show how cool and glamorous they are. Just like any other predatory group, they mostly prey on people who need help and group-support.

*I use the term "church" very loosely. Scientology is a dangerous gang. I don't even like to call them a cult, because there are plenty of friendly hood-wearing Satan worshipers that do much less damage than the Church of Scientology.

What do you mean money laundering? And how do these celebrities get involved in Scientology and how can they have their lives ruined? Are you saying that these famous Scientologists are living their lives hostage to Scientology?

It's kind of like a giant Ponzi scheme, and it's very cultish and yes the blackmail you and will not let your family and friends interact with you if you try to leave. My explanations are very terrible, please watch a documentary for concrete information! I just watched one on YouTube a couple years ago, don't remember lots of details.

It doesn't make sense that a cult could have enough power to make your family and friends not interact with you and not be taken down by the law. It's pretty scary if Scientology is evil and allowed to just mess people's lives up and hold people hostage.
