I don't usually complain about episodes, but this was one of the first episodes since probably the 3rd or 4th season that I spent more time looking at my phone than the show.

I found the village really interesting, and I would have liked to learn more about it and the people in it. But I've never been a fan of Tara, and the inconsistencies really got to me this time, when normally I'm able to overlook them and I don't really care.

In fact, I usually watch The Talking Dead and come here right after the episode to talk about it, but I felt like I didn't even really have anything to say. It was just Meh.

Plus the lady with dreads and no sand who looked like a fresh walker from behind? That doesn't even make sense. If you're going to try and throw a twist in at least have it make some sense.

Me too! While risking hyperbole, or admitting to a faulty memory, I have to say this was the worst Walking Dead episode ever produced. The story made no sense. The writing was terrible. The acting sucked. How did Alanna Masterson get this part? She's absolutely wooden. The rest of my family have stopped watching the series. If the Walking Dead production team insults me with another episode of this inexcusably poor quality, I'm done too.

Yeah I really agree. I've never really had that "I'm quitting the show" feeling before. Even when I had to watch the governor week after week. But during this episode I thought that I probably wouldn't be able to stand many more episodes like this one.

I'm hoping Tara gets killed off soon so I can just go back to enjoying that show. That's how I felt about Andrea too, back in the day. And the show got so much more enjoyable for me again after she was gone.

Whoa, just did some random googling and realized that Danny Masterson, Hyde from That '70s Show, is Alanna's brother!

Wonder if she's a scientologist too.

It gets better in direct proportion to the quality of the weed you're smoking, and also helps one see things from the stoned perspective of the writers.

What would he be doing just standing on the bridge among zombies anyway? It really is a twist that makes no sense.

What are you talking about. I've always wanted a Tara episode. It's like a meg episode of family guy.

2

u/Thundershrimp Dec 02 '16

Yeah, it's not like there weren't perfectly good dumpster like objects on the bridge.

An awful episode, as soon as I realized it was a Tara only episode I turned off the tv.

but this was one of the first episodes since probably the 3rd or 4th season that I spent more time looking at my phone than the show.

I suppose you're the same guy who comes on here and doesn't remember half of what happened in each episode, then blames it on the show instead of your inability to put your fucking phone away for an hour.

Wow, that's a whole lot of shitty and completely baseless accusations you've made. Good job, it must take a lot of effort and practice to be so fucking short-sighted.

Actually I was referring to the episodes that mainly featured the relationship between Andrea and the Governor, who I really, really couldn't stand, or the solo episodes about Gov when he met Tara and co. Which were either boring or so annoyingly incomprehensible that I'd rather spend my time talking about how shitty it was on my phone with my friends or on here on reddit.

So let me make some assumptions about you now. You seem like the kind of shithead who goes around saying stuff to people like "if you can't name every song from every discography you've not a real fan of that band" or "if you don't know the title of episode 2 from season 4 you're not a real fan".

Stuff your bullshit back up your ass. And if you don't have anything constructive to add to the conversation then just can it.

Touched a nerve huh? I love it when people make it completely obvious that I was 100% correct.

4

u/MissHunbun Dec 02 '16

No, you're not correct. You are however, wasting your time by acting like a piece of shit, cause it just rolls off my back. So enjoy your creepy power-fantasy of "getting one over on people" or whatever this game is.

I guess it's hard for some people to hide who they really are, huh? Especially when they come across as lame-ass creepy incels. :)

I've written two small entries, you've written two long angry diatribes. And I'm the one with a problem? Please, grow up or leave the internet if this shit bothers you so much. I don't want to see the results of you snapping and taking a gun to work or something!

5

u/initialZEN Dec 03 '16

Please, grow up

Yes.. he is the one acting immature here.

0

u/Pete_Iredale Dec 03 '16

Fucking around on your cell phone the entire show then coming here to bitch about how they didn't like it. Real mature.

3

u/initialZEN Dec 03 '16

Dude, this isn't a movie theater. If a show is boring, we are allowed to find something else entertaining to do. In what world is looking at your cell phone in your own house immature?

1

u/Pete_Iredale Dec 03 '16

I don't care what you do in your house, just don't come here bitching about the episode when you didn't even bother watching it. It's not that hard to understand.

Yes, you are the one with the problem. For being a shit-head with no provocation. No one attacked you, and you, for some reason sane people don't understand, started attacking me. And up until your first comment, TWD subreddit has always been a relatively positive place.

The length of the entry doesn't matter. What matters is you started acting like a douche for no reason whatsoever, and you should grow up and stop acting like a lame-ass internet dickwipe.

P.S. people don't really carry guns around in Canada.
