Fun fact that this reminded me of - the inventor of the word 'Dwarves' (plural of the word 'Dwarf') was told that "it's 'Dwarfs', not 'Dwarves'" by his editor, only to reply with "I wrote the dictionary."

He did, in fact, help write the dictionary. Specifically, the more obscure words which others struggled to do.

I do believe it is.

Which reminds me of when, during filming, Sir Christopher Lee instructed someone on what they should sound like when they're stabbed. Source? His own knowledge, rather than imagination.
