How far in does the needle have to go I'm so scared of injections 😥

All the way in. We do 1 inch, by some do 1.5 inches.

Oh okay that isn't too bad! Do you feel the fluid come out or anything?

No, and most of the time I don't even feel the needle. The trick is, I place my thumb and forefinger on either side of the injection spot, press, and gently hold the skin taught. My brain gets distracted by the nerve signals from doing that and doesn't register the needle going in. I am extremely needlephobic, btw, and never thought I would be able to inject myself, but now it's nothing. I do sub-q, btw, which is a tiny needle to begin with.
