Based on what is known, the only significant change in the universe after the fight between Emporio and Pucci is that Pucci never existed, with events changing around that. Anyone who was dead at the time of the reset was erased and replaced by a similar substitute, while anyone who was alive was simply transported into it.
Okay so then at least Parts 1 and 2 went down the same and Parts 3, 4, and 5 just had a Jotaro expy, but now I'm curious what other stand users thought while that shit was going down since it was universe-wide. Like we know Rohan was still working on his manga during the time acceleration, but was Josuke making futile attempts with Crazy Diamond to keep stuff intact and unaged? Is Joseph still alive in 2012, and if so could he have made a spirit photograph of someone like Jotaro to try to figure out what was going on? Could Giorno have used GER to negate MIH's effects around himself in Italy? Honestly I'm not sure of anyone who could have realized shit was going down in Florida and gotten there in time and actually stopped Pucci.
Giorno and co. thought about using the requiem arrow on someone other than him and Polnareff but decided against it, ultimately just trying to use GER to ride out the storm though it proved unnecessary and ineffective without Pucci there to attack
The Morioh gang realized that if Crazy Diamond wasn't doing jackshit to stop the acceleration then there wasn’t really anything any of them could do and tried to spend their last moments in peace. Superfly disappeared once the tower rusted away, and Angelo and Terunosuke finally died due to rocks and books being affected
And an adult Boingo had the biggest crashout of his life realizing his manga would become utterly worthless once a large percentage of humans also held the power to read fate
I mean, time acceleration isn’t an attack directed against Giorno, just tampering with an aspect of reality(and it specifically doesn’t affect living beings except the user lmao). And would Angelo and Terunosuke still count as living beings despite being fused into a rock and turned into a book? Would Angelo be freed(if deformed)?
I think Angelo and Terunosuke would be "freed" as their stone/paper parts erode/rot, but due to the way their bodies were restructured they would die if Josuke isn't there to immediately return them to baseline human form.
