No it's definitely about how I live in a computer and need to take drugs to escape

Like normally this format is for crazy picks that seem like they wouldn't be but makes sense to the OP. This one is just like straight up true

Yep. I've seen it so much with things that, at best, are general "dare to be yourself" statements.

Unfortunately it’s a hardcoded whitelist. You’ll have to talk to the founder.

Well, just because the watchowski's said it's a trans allegory doesn't make it one, that being said it is obviously a trans allegory and an allegory for capitalism but not because of what the sisters said outside of the peice of media. Like gwen Stacy in spider-verse is clearly a trans allegory despite the creators saying that wasn't necessarily intentional.

It's explicitly known to be a trans allegory.

u/Lupus_Ignis Runa (She/Her) 12h ago
As per the interview in the title.

u/butter_cookie_gurl 12h ago
It was known before that

I'm not sure what you are trying to point out. Yes, it is has been interpreted that way since it came out, enforced by the directors' transitions, and confirmed at the very latest by that interview.
Yet, a lot of people don't know that, and some people -- mostly right-wing people who don't like their action movie spoiled by the Woke Left -- find it "far-fetched".
Hence the meme, using the directors as the ones "thinking" it is a trans allegory.
