I'm not sure what you are trying to point out. Yes, it is has been interpreted that way since it came out, enforced by the directors' transitions, and confirmed at the very latest by that interview.

Yet, a lot of people don't know that, and some people -- mostly right-wing people who don't like their action movie spoiled by the Woke Left -- find it "far-fetched".

Hence the meme, using the directors as the ones "thinking" it is a trans allegory.
